Just curious if there’s been any kind of hands-on review or commentary on how it drives. None of the videos I’ve seen actually comment on it.
Ford has had some great MTs and some crappy ones in the recent past. I only really want the bronco with a MT and I’m placing an order soon. Was hoping to...
Yep agreed on no wheel spacers etc. The base steelies are a pretty useless size (16x7) so I’ve been factoring wheels and tires into my post-delivery costs. I’m also probably not going to get my bronco for a year and will get to see plenty of modded examples before I take delivery, which is also...
Yeah If the badlands has the same offset clearance as the lower models we should be good (since badlands has 33s but apparently only .4 inches higher) - but we don’t know this yet. I’m hoping to run 285s 70 17s on the base without mods. (Unless the FPP suspension lift from the accessories list...
Really. That’s awesome. Love the badlands look but honestly don’t need everything it comes with. Thanks for the info.
Any idea if the rest of the suspension/control arm setup on the badlands affects the wheel offset/spacing? The base comes with 255 on 16x7s, but I’m not sure if the base 285s...
So I see the FPP lift in the accessories list.
Does this mean I can order a base, and have my dealer install the 2 inch FPP lift?
Would that theoretically allow me to fit the the badlands 17s and 285 70 tires onto a base?
Yeah FYI from the news last nights it looks like very limited availability for white tops in MY22 - people seem to be thinking only a certain new expensive trim will get it. :(
Honestly I wouldn't mind putting down a larger deposit if it meant less cancellations that bumped me to a later build. But I also am not complaining that Eric isn't charging me one. ;)
Someone in the aftermarket will make one I'm sure. Definitely deflates a bit of my excitement though. Wait 15 years for the new bronco and i can't even pay a little extra for a white top.
Well i remember reading the modular white top would be available as a MY22 option - and seeing as the black mod top isn't available on the base in the configurator, i'm assuming the white won't be either :(
Good choice. These Coopers are also similar and pretty solid. I think a lot of folks are underestimating how crappy the ride will be day to day with 500lbs of armor and 60lb E-Rated tires. My truck has E rated hankooks and they are solid in the dirt but man are they stiff. Looking forward to...
If you order the preinstalled Aux Switches option ($195 gives you 5 blank switches in the console) - all the aftermarket lights should be plug and play. Should be minimal wiring work! Ford making it easy.
