I can confirm that these work on the OEM black steelies. The center cap is held in place, but there is a slight movement. I would say slightly more than with the stock lugnuts. So far so good.

Hi guys, Quick question. Is there a way to limit how far the tailgate travels? Better yet, a way to lock it in place? I was boiling water on the tailgate table and it kept moving. It'd be nice to lock it when camping, especially on uneven ground like I was over the weekend... Thanks.

Hi guys, I bought McGard lugnuts for my BD steelies and they do not hold the plastic center cap in place. I will have to return them. Has anyone here tried putting black lugnuts on black steelies? If so, what brand did you go with? Thank you,

I ordered the McGards recommended in this thread a month ago to put on my BD steelies. The Bronco showed up a few days ago and they do not work. The issue is that the plastic centerpiece Bronco logo will not be held in place with the McGards. I had to either drive around without the center cap...
