They circled us a couple times. The last pass my wife got the shot while I was wrestling with my drone to get out of the way. The soldier in the door saluted the flag. Insane indeed.
A single axle can be had for around $250. I got a set of two. So $250, although more expensive than the boots, is more than worth it. Less work and easily available. You’ll have better luck finding a unicorn than CV boots and if you do, enjoy the nightmare of rebuilding the CV to save $80.
True but there’s still the CV issues that need to be addressed with lifts 2” or above. The droop is putting the CVs at risk. Limit strap? Diff drop? And I won’t go Spicer or RCV until they explicitly say they can handle the CV angles that a king coil-over (lowest setting) and 37s present...
I still have my stock 35s. I definitely considered throwing them back on for warranty purposes. My guess is that they would blame the King coilovers so didn't bother.
I'm on Kings w/37s with the fronts on the lowest setting (2" above SAS). The CV angles are TERRIBLE. Already overextended the driver side and didn't even try to warranty it. Bought the Ford Performance OEM shaft kit and replaced the driver side. Now I have a spare passenger CV. I would love...
on 37s, is anyone worried about the added droop with the sway bar disconnected? I overextended my driver side CV on Kings/37s with my sway bar connected! Full droop + coilovers = bad CV angles. I need a DIFF DROP bad!
I'm running Kings 2.5s on my basesquatch with -12mm offset wheels on 37s. No rub but the CV angles SUCK! Something to consider. Oh yeah, Kings in the front are on the lowest setting and that's still higher than SAS. I've already overextended my driver side CV and had to replace. Patiently...
I’m not dumping the silly blocks. Stock tie rods with the braces are just as strong as the icons. As far as the rack housing and bushing, I installed both from BB. If only 74Weld’s option was available 6 months ago, I would have jumped in that. American made housing and bushing for $500...
Probably why they look identical to ACFABs at half the price ($152 when you preorder). The "release" price will be $295 but they are up for $195 plus another $50 off with code "Bronco".
Not sure how accurate this is but I heard there's a Bronco version of this air disconnect in the works. $1300 for the Jeep version. Probably $1500 with the Bronco tax. LOL.

I feel ya. I too ordered my Bestop when I ordered my Bronco. Big mistake. Poor design and the crossmember broke after two weeks. And don’t get me started on how loud it was.
I tried returning and got the runaround where Ford merchandise said to return to the dealer and the dealer said “nope, you...
lol. I remember seeing the first 74weld video for the complete rack and they saying the housing and bushing wasn’t an optimal option (probably taking a dig at BB). This is definitely a financial decision as this will attract those that don’t want to pay 3-5K for the complete rack.
I too was at...
