A single axle can be had for around $250. I got a set of two. So $250, although more expensive than the boots, is more than worth it. Less work and easily available. You’ll have better luck finding a unicorn than CV boots and if you do, enjoy the nightmare of rebuilding the CV to save $80.

I think a set of cv boots run about $160 and a 3 hour job. CV axles runs $468 for two and it’s about an hour job.

True but there’s still the CV issues that need to be addressed with lifts 2” or above. The droop is putting the CVs at risk. Limit strap? Diff drop? And I won’t go Spicer or RCV until they explicitly say they can handle the CV angles that a king coil-over (lowest setting) and 37s present...

A Bronco CV axle is way easier to replace than the CV boot (if you can find boots).

I still have my stock 35s. I definitely considered throwing them back on for warranty purposes. My guess is that they would blame the King coilovers so didn't bother.

on 37s, is anyone worried about the added droop with the sway bar disconnected? I overextended my driver side CV on Kings/37s with my sway bar connected! Full droop + coilovers = bad CV angles. I need a DIFF DROP bad!
