Can you tell it’s been 20 years since I’ve owned a Wrangler soft top ??. For some reason I thought the soft top might fit between roof rails but that doesn’t make sense does it. I never had a roof rails with mine.

I guess the Bimini top would work as an option with roof rails. I was trying to avoid the exoskeleton style rack but maybe that’s not possible.

Most likely due to automatic braking feature. I believe you can’t have that with a manual in other manufacturers as well.
