  1. What Color Do You Want to See the Bronco Offered In?

My Rubicon is that Color. It's called Sting Grey for Jeep and Destroyer Grey for Dodge. it's a great color.
  2. Jeep gunning straight for the Ranger

how did you change the picture orientation?
  3. Jeep gunning straight for the Ranger

Look at this garbage. This is very common right now for a Gladiator and I think it’s absurd and very damaging to the Gladiator to mark it up 10k over MSRP. While it’s getting great reviews no one should pay 70k for it. Buy the Raptor or two Rangers instead. I am a Jeep guy and I wouldn’t...
  4. What Color Do You Want to See the Bronco Offered In?

I am rooting for Brown and Cream
  5. New full size Bronco spy pics / info???

Personally I think this is Ford being sneaky. This is probably them just testing something we cannot see and decided to put it on this weird mule and drive it around to get press. I would bet we never find out what this is or what they were testing. It sure is heck isn't a Bronco.
  6. GM debuts another SUV and still no Bronco

We are now hitting over saturation on the curvy small cross over looking vehicles. For this reason the Bronco should very well because it is going to look different and people will like the look of it because it will be distinctive. I commute ~65 miles a day in my Rubicon and I see so many...
  7. Article: What Can the 2021 Ford Bronco Learn from the Toyota FJ Cruiser?

This is a weird article. I don't consider the FJ Cruiser a success. According to those numbers it sold 222,251 units in 12 years. On average it sold 27781 units per year(from 2006 to 2014). Half of the total units were sold in the first 2 years. When you design a plan to bring a new vehicle...
  8. I'm not getting younger. So with Ford so tight lipped, I just bought a new Wrangler.

You won't be disappointed in the Jeep so you now get to enjoy your Jeep and the Bronco6G forums. Like you I am hoping Ford gives us something soon.
  9. Towing capacity??

I think it's going to be closer to 4000 lbs. Offroading and towing are polar opposites. You have to strike a middle ground and Jeep has set the expectation for this market segment that 3500lbs for is ok. Ford will beat the Wranglers' 3500 lbs but don't expect them to beat it by much. It's...
  10. Pricing guesses

I would say take the new Ranger SuperCrew 4X4 starting price and add $2000. Bronco Base - 32,860 - Equivalent to the Ranger XL Mid - 36,295 - Equivalent to the Ranger XLT Top - 40,565 - Equivalent to the Ranger Lariat. Option them out the way you want and keep the option prices the same. I...
  11. Ford, tell me something. Had to talk myself off the ledge.

@Wanted33 So did you come off the ledge or did you buy the new JL?
  12. Ford Reconfirms Hybrid Bronco After Axing Passenger Car Lineup

This is going to be as close to official as you are going to get until the Bronco is officially announced. Take it as knowledgeable speculation. https://jalopnik.com/the-2020-ford-bronco-could-get-a-7-speed-manual-transmi-1829563048 From the article. According to sources who spoke with...
  13. From Ford Authority

From the article.... As for power to push the Bronco around, the same turbo four that the Ranger uses is expected paired with the same 10-speed automatic transmission. A hybrid is expected since Ford is betting big on electrification. I know it's early and this is just speculation but
  14. Ford Reconfirms Hybrid Bronco After Axing Passenger Car Lineup

    BroncoMike is the INTERNET police.
  15. Diesel Option For The Bronco?

You're the one who needs to get a grip. No one in their right mind would take anything Stampeded or I said as anything but conjecture. Just having a conversation on a very low population forum about a non existent vehicle's non existent powertrain is not exactly something to be calling people...
  16. Diesel Option For The Bronco?

@BroncoMike Let me fix my posts so just in case 1 of the 12 people who read page 3 of forum post about possibly bringing a diesel to a future vehicle won't be confused. Better???? Next time have the guts to call me out by name.
  17. Ford, tell me something. Had to talk myself off the ledge.

You will LOVE it. Take the Plunge, you will not be disappointed and if Ford craps the bed with the Bronco you are covered. I commute 60 miles a day in my Rubicon and find it rides as good as any SUV.
  18. Ford, tell me something. Had to talk myself off the ledge.

Buy the Jeep and enjoy it until the Bronco arrives. I have a 2018 JKU Rubicon that I will be trading in on the Bronco when it arrives in a few years. Unless of course it sucks and ends up like the new "Blazer"
  19. Diesel Option For The Bronco?

I did not know they were bringing this engine to the states. Hypothetically, if Ford uses this engine for a future powertrain option, in my opinion It will have to be re-tuned to US emissions standards for the Bronco. I knew the existing diesel option for the Transit is the 3.2 but it make...
  20. Diesel Option For The Bronco?

Here is the specs on the Duramax in the Chevy ZR2 Colorado The optional Duramax 2.8-liter turbodiesel I-4 is good for 181 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque and comes mated to a six-speed auto. It's down on horsepower compared to the V-6, but it makes up for it in both torque and fuel economy—it's EPA...
