Got my -C kit on the way from fordpartspros/Bommarito Ford. GrumpyOne did you notice anything different in the Forscan work needed to enable the module? I put the -B variant in my wife's last year and still have my notes.
After having my 2.3 2025 for a few weeks, i was looking at BOV options - is there any reason a BOV meant for a 2021-2024 2.3 wouldn't work on the 2025 with the 2.3 MPC?
Ordered April 24, 2025
Scheduled July 21, 2025
Built August 5, 2025 (likely the PPF option required it to take a trip outside the factory)
Delivered August 11, 2025 (112 days after order)- Pictured next to my wife's 2024 BB 2D 7MT.
I will say this now that i've taken delivery - if you don't...
I'd agree with 6th being pretty much a waste. I'm interested to see if its any more useful on the Base with the tiny tires, but even on my wifes 24BB with the 32s it doesn't get much use.
I read on here awhile ago that keeping the motor out of boost when its lugging/under 2k rpm (even if it...
Wondering if anyone did this and added a factory steel bash plate? I got a dealer cast-off capable bumper and steel bash plate off a Black Diamond and want to fit it to the 2024 BB.
Drove the new 2.3 today in a 2025 BB, comparing it to our 24 BB 2DR 7MT. Something has changed - power comes on way sooner, with much less noticeable lag and more linear delivery. Top end/interstate noise levels were similar.
And the pictures at the beginning of the thread don't do justice to...
Would you be willing to post screenshots from your easy mode config (just showing the 'tow' parameters) and what you set them to? Especially APIC and IPC.
Just wanted to post another success story - We got our 2024 BB 7MT last month, and I knew I wanted a hitch for bike racks and small towing jobs. What I didn't realize was that I also wanted a way to permanently kill the Auto Start-Stop switch, something that can't be done in the 2024s without...
So there are really two components needed on the 2024s to make the already-installed trailer wiring fully functional - one is you do have to install the Trailer Module, which fits under the back left interior panel - that doesn't come with the car, but comes with the kit...
The good news on the 2024s is most of the wiring is done. If you're OK with DIY, there are a few parts to buy and some Forscan work to do: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/2024-trailer-tow-kit-new-ford-accessory-part.88899/
