  1. Tires aren't as heinous as I thought they'd be...

I kept mine in case I want to go back but I think 33s are perfect. They also work great for mild off road.
  2. Sunrider Soft Top

I’m in the Northeast and if its above 50 degrees and not raining, mine’s open. It’s way easier than messing with the panels; opens/closes in seconds. For me, a major part of the experience of driving a Bronco is the open top.
  3. Talk Me Off The Ledge.... 😲

He wanted a Bronco not an Explorer.
  4. Talk Me Off The Ledge.... 😲

Do it. Base is the way. My only suggestion for your use case is to consider dropping sasquatch and go aftermarket wheels and 33s. In my opinion, looks perfect on 2 door.
  5. This Turns Your Bronco into a Full-Blown Overland Rig in 15 Minutes!

I understand; that was just a friendly jab at the overlanding folks. Thanks for the response though.
  6. This Turns Your Bronco into a Full-Blown Overland Rig in 15 Minutes!

I think the title of this thread is misleading. Does it include a RTT?
  7. One parking spot, two perspectives.

I’m used to people being selfish. What I don’t understand is why is this guy just hanging out in a parking lot? Am I missing the game or concert he is tailgating for?
  8. 2021 vs 2025

Obviously, my vote is for zero options. :)
  9. Thoughts on my ideas appearance

Is it a 2 or 4 door? If we are talking strictly looks, I think 33s are perfect on a 2 door but 4 doors look better on 35s.
  10. Broken Dreams

Driving up here in the NE, I just consider windshields a consumable like tires. 1 BMW windshield, 1 Subaru windshield, and 1 or 2 F150 windshields (I can’t even remember) so far. Bronco good; for now anyway.
  11. What I have noticed: Bronco Attitudes

I don’t intend to be rude. Usually when I pass another Bronco, I just say ā€œBronco!ā€ to my wife and immediately look back at the road. Please don’t take it personally.
  12. I’m so frustrated!

Says the guy from New Jersey. šŸ˜†
  13. Admit it, your rig is a "mall crawler"...

Ha! Thank you for the clarification.
  14. Admit it, your rig is a "mall crawler"...

Is this the mall? No. Could I get through here with a Subaru? Yes. So not really sure where that puts me.
  15. Recall: Rear Shock Absorber External Reservoir Corrosion (Safety Recall 25S01 - January 21, 2025)

They likely had to cut corners to make the Sasquatch package such a good deal; especially in the beginning. Worth it just for the locking diffs and upgraded transfer case in my opinion. That being said, I have been very happy with the base setup. For on road and light offroading consisting...
  16. Power top (MyTop) soft top now available from Ford Accessories

It must be murder on gas mileage with it sticking up in the air like that. Seems like a design flaw. :)
  17. Sort of a poll on socket set

Another vote for Tekton here. I order direct from their website; free shipping over $25 and a rewards program. The quality is good.
  18. Minimal Winch Help

Why do people see a topic that they think has been adequately covered before, feel the need to read, and then comment that this topic has been covered before? You could say the same about pretty much every topic at this point. I guess it's time to shut the site down and just search old posts...
  19. Plastic dashboard ruined by a 'rat'

This info isn’t much help now but the heat from the rat being on the dash probably accelerated the migration of plasticisers out of the rat and onto your dash. The same reason, I found out the hard way, that some types of door mats will damage a composite deck.
  20. Did I Make A Mistake?

This Consumer Reports article is pretty good. Do You Really Need AWD in the Snow. From my experience driving FWD, RWD, AWD, and part time 4WD vehicles in New England for the past 20 years the article is spot on.
