I wanted mine hidden from view so I put it in the factory subwoofer location and cut off the factory storage box on that side (4dr Mid package). HS8 fits cockeyed, but the surfaces are uneven, so I had to hack together a way to mount it to the vehicle and because of that it looks… not the best...
I rotate all 5 of mine every 5k miles. Gets you extra life out of the set because you are running 5 tires instead of 4
that mounted fifth tire is “used” since it’s on the rim
Maybe slightly more under sudden and intense braking - like slamming on the brakes
I think it’s partly due to my winch and winch mount being out in front of the bumper, further from the axle
I came from the Hitachi springs so I can only compare to those
it dives about the same until under sudden & intense braking, then it might dive just a bit more
personally, I find the ride quality MUCH better than the Hitachi setup I came from
I have the heavy duty front springs with a Badland Apex 12k winch on a hefty winch mount, something like 150 pounds on top of the factory bumper
the nose still dives when braking
it does ride nice though! Not harsh at all
