Every time i hold my breath to wait for something meaningful on this thread I just end up passing out. Doing the same thing and expecting different results is.....
Per Bronco website, the estimated weight of the 2 door with 2.3 and manual is 4,330 (rounded) and with automatic (4,970 rounded).
Why nearly 650 pounds added when Mustang 2.3 adds less than 100 pounds to go 10 speed auto (same trans)?
Is this an error on Bronco specs or did they shroud the...
PITA...vs just pulling out a Weather Tech and blowing it off at the car wash. I stand by earlier statements...wash out flooring sounds awesome on paper - but not so much on execution. I guess simple solution for me to stick with BD is to drop a Weather Tech over it and roll on.
If it isn't bonded (to eliminate water trapping between rubber and metal) then isn't this a recipe for floor to rust out prematurely? I thought I wanted a rubber floor. The more I consider, it seems less attractive. Be nice to see in person to understand how difficult to remove when needed...
So it is a rubberized floor that is bonded to the floor pans and you can't remove? So when you got a big glob of mud inside you have to run enough water through it to turn it into liquid to rinse all out - vs just take out the rubber floor mat, spray off and reinstall. The more I think about...
Love the white top and flare combo on several of the colors...but doesn't it look a bit odd with the chunky modular black bumper? It seems to only work well (IMO) with a lower profile chrome or white bumper. I think I will stick with black hardtop and flares and continue to appreciate the...
Maybe this is why it is gray...so it won't look like crap in 3-4 years being a surface that will get pounded by the sun. Chevy Avalanche truck with as molded panels comes to mind...they all look like sheet. Maybe painted and wrapped in clear to protect during removal and stowage?
So how long will folks wait to change their reservation if their dealer remains wishy-washy? Sounds like
we have up to Oct 31...so maybe start process 2 weeks before deadline as could be 1000's of change requests
in the final days??
FYI...I am not a Ford sales guy....I am a salesperson in industry who can be critical of the process and it is a bit frustrating to offer a company my money when their support system/tools have some major flaws. I love the vehicle just not the process and wanted to see how others felt about...
Nope...OP is just a sales lacky that tries to put myself in my customers shoes so that I do a better job of taking care of their needs than my competition. Right or wrong, I expect the same from suppliers that I am preparing to send my hard earned money to....a lot of money in this case! Ford...
Except we are intelligent (mostly) human beings that can decide when the juice isn't worth the squeeze. If I was ordering an FE, I would probably deal with it. I will be able to get whatever I was going to order anyway from dealer stock only a few months after this "Hide The Sausage" game is...
Interesting...I assume you were both equally excited to reserve...and wow two FE's!!...very cool...but now feeling differently. Confirmed BF Case #1. Ford scientists should be working on a cure before this thing spreads. ?
