I’m considering something similar. I’m trying to understand the zen. It can output to analog or digital. If you go digital you will lose the factory fader. Are there any other functions that differ between the two. Did you choose digital because it’s a cleaner signal?
Hmm it does look like you have the orientation of the rear bar correct. Can you put the whole rack together and then drop it in place then tighten up the hooks with the triangle tool?
Similar to what I have done so far with lots of configuration tweaks. For me adding three new tweeters became fatiguing so now I’m back to using the tweeters in just the front corners. I used Infinity reference and I think their tweeters are harsh compared to speakers with soft dome tweeters.
Today I was all set to remove the cargo panel to see if I could find my horrible sub rattle. I had seen a post saying check the aux power. I stuck a paper towel under the cig lighter flap and that was it. Didn’t have to remove the panel today but I will when I upgrade the sub. Come on Ford...
beautiful install. I have a few questions re the B&O amp.
Did you delete the factory amp via A2B?
Are you amplifying and dsp the center channel or is that running from the head unit?
Are the forscan changes the same for the B&O as the six speaker system?
After reading this thread I checked the heat in my 2 door BL sas lux. I felt a little warmth coming out under the dash but nothing under the seat. I took a closer look and see the vent but it’s totally covered in carpet. Do the two doors even have heat for the back seat?
Agree, the system uses dsp so you should not have to use bass blockers. We don’t know how efficient each of the factory speakers are but whatever those values are would play heavily into the dsp which can not be changed without replacing the b&o amp with a bus converter and a new multi channel...
That’s what my plan was but the infinity coaxial has the wires molded into the tweeter assembly. I just used channel locks to break the tweeter off. I had an extra speaker so I went for it.
