Just passed Bakersfield! 9:07pm finally in civilization on its way to the rail yard

ah man! i think i did a little write up on here awhile ago but it fell on deaf ears

im going to take a shot in the dark and its going to travel 300 miles again and then sit again for a long time, probably in bakersfield or fresno. Wish i knew the story too! would make a good piece of backstory for the bronco

Update: just checked the tracker and FINALLY departed amboy CA 12/07 8:18am almost a week later @Itsdchz

just go to the tracker tab at the top, if you get CSX ive figured out a way to be able input your rail car letters and numbers and bypass the need to talk into the iffy voice recognition

once you get a rail car number there is one of three phone services you can call and itll give you periodic updates of where your bronco is, without the rail car number youre SOL, either ford customer chat or the dealership can give you it

I think im planning on going that way weekend of new years, not confirmed yet though

ive only been one time, i brought my prerunner i was building and my friend brought his bronco (profile pic was on the water at pismo) got to test drive the bronco there at the dunes and thats what started my love for them

I havent made any big purchases yet, just a lot of small creature comforts that can still be returned if shit hit the fan

first order of business is a decent sound system, ordered replacement speakers and pulled my slim JL subwoofer box to gut it and put it somewhere in the bronco that doesnt take too much space, probably where the OEM B&O subwoofer went

ive had most of these parts stockpiled/ ordered around early November when i was under the assumption i was already in richmond, but i was given the wrong rail car number... but hoping for the best and hoping it arrives before christmas
