Looking forward to your opinion...when you get it. Hoping it is the best one for my use...Patience for quality and dependable hard top manufacturing is exhausting.
A year has past and my budget recovered sufficiently to install the new winch
and here is a few up-dated images showing the new plate made to cover and protect the winch (from the mud and weather) mounted in the 1 year old Buckstop front bumper.
(New front shocks are next planned...
Sorry, but it is now time to get close and personal to the under carriage of your Bronco. A simple stiff bristle brush & for the detail -crevices- a brass tooth brush, dip the brushes in some Murphy's oil soap while it is securely up on the ramps, remove the bash plates (easy). rinse well, and...
I am sincerely grateful for your concern and input. I am not truly anti-synthetic winch line. Just personally do not prefer the new rope material over the steel I am used to pulling with. In all honesty, I would also prefer a true "heritage model" Bronco with hand E brakes, ash trays, hand crank...
Fair question....I prefer steel, it is what I am used to using pulling logs. If I used rope where I am most of the time, I would not leave it on until I was heading out on a trail, then I would remove it to keep it clean and dry.
My Bronco is rarely either clean or dry.
To be upfront, I am sure many of you prefer your beautiful winch exposed, completely naked and not protected at all.
No judgment intended here.
I have really been quite happy with my Bronco's quality winch bumper made and installed last year by "Buckstop".
It is the second bumper I have...
I use the RAVELCO security device every time. Very happy with it....also am very happy with the FP tune.
I wish I knew someone who could help me with Forscan (would gladly provide the meal and drinks for the service) ....Until then-I hit that silence button right after startup or I bitch about...
Bronco seats are great for me, but that is 100% an individual perspective depending on each rider's personal injuries and back condition.
The electric seat's are great for my old bad back...can dial them in to my favored ache for the day.
