You 'might' be able to...but it does snap in pretty tight.

Also as a side note to this...I didn't even use the 3M tape and it holds very well just mechanically if interested.

I think it might be able to hold the weight...yes, it is one of the more affordable models, but the brackets are attached directly to 2 body mounts on each side and torqued down.

They are more glossy than the originals, and are more of a plastic 'rubbery' than the hard non flexible originals. Also not textured.

Yes, and they actually varied dramatically from passenger side to driver side on mine.

So my issue was same as yours, with an added issue. The passenger side was slightly loose fitting, but I crimped down the rivnut tight and it fits great. The drivers side....the rivnuts would NOT FIT! Way smaller holes. I started to dwell on it and then with the help of my neighbor we just...

Quick question.....ordered mine on Thursday night and apparently it will be in my driveway on Sunday! With this riv nut tool...are we drilling into the rollbar? Are we not using existing bolts?? Thanks! And have a great Memorial Weekend all.
