Hi Adam,
Thank you, but I was actually referring to the factory mirrors whistling in the wind, so I was thinking an aftermarket mirror replacement would solve that at the same time as adding lights.

Well, it blew the tire, AND the spare, on the same obstacle, so the vehicle had to be left there. It wasn't anything mechanical that broke down. But it does highlight the inappropriateness of the 20" wheels(more importantly, the reduced sidewall on the tires as a result) that come equipped on...
anyone seen any mirror lights for the Bronco yet? Perhaps something similar to the Oracle?
I don't particularly like having a square light pod near the cowl, and with the mirror whistling on the non camera side mirrors, an aftermarket housing with lighting would address both at the same time...
I checked B&P and did not see a way to add full skid plates on an OBX (or other trims for that matter). Did I miss something? Where can I add full skip plates to mod bumper for $350?
I believe BD and BL comes with mod bumper and "full skip plates". Other trims can option for the mod bumper, but can only get the front skid plate under the engine.
If you already took delivery of your rig, then you would have the HD modular bumper instead. Capable bumper will start being used on MY22 (so info may be scarce at this point).
The HD Modular bumper does have a bracket add-on to accept a winch. Here's an article with some pictures of varying...
the plot thickens!! so now we have 2 forum members with 2 doors that doesn't have that bracket, and at least 1 who does. The bracket seems to be screwed onto the clamshell, meaning there has to be a steel nut molded into the clamshell to accept it.
It seems to be pointing to a change in the...
officially, a ko2 in 285/75r16 has a recommended minimum rim width of 7.5. However, plenty of 4runner owners run that tires on 7.0 width wheels with no issues.
Holy smokes, did yours come from the factory like that? Can you please take a look underside the clam shell to see how that bracket would've been attached?
Did someone at Webasto throw a 4 door clamshell bracket on the 2 door clamshell, and that's why that bracket seems out of place on the OP's...
if you don't have a reservation, and are just putting it in now, then it probably doesn't matter. The situation is so fluid that no firm estimates are available at this point, so whether it causes delays or not won't be felt.
yah, to add to what others have already shared, the phenomenon is called "Flicker Fusion". Essentially, when you see an image/light/stimulus, and the image/light stops, your brain processes it in a way that it appears to "fade" away in your interpretation. And if the stimulus comes back before...
