Holy ——, VIN works on Ford Pass too. Didn’t work last week. Now I don’t think it’s even on the MAP assembly line but some online systems’ been updated for the VIN to work outside their internal network! Worked on Progressive’s insurance site and on Ford Pass app! Again it said invalid last week...

My VIN works on Progressive’s site now. Not sure if it’s a sign or I’m a crazy person grasping at straws

Your VIN is internal within Ford until it’s actually built. I tried getting a quote from my insurance with my VIN but it comes back as invalid. edit: as I said this I just tried again and Progressive recognized the VIN now (my Bronco is not built). Well I’m confused now
