Understood. I have a new set of trim removal tools. You are referring to the cargo floor correct? I'm guessing that's just the 4 anchors and maybe some clips?
So, did anyone else notice there isn't a "suicide" king in the deck? The king of hearts should have left his seatbelt off...that would have been an amazing Easter egg.
Thank you for this insight. I will add it to my parts list along with some extra panel clips in case I break any. I really don't want to do this to my brand new vehicle but I figure I am going to be much more careful and thorough than the dealer would be.
I'm gonna tear into my 2 door as soon as the kilmat arrives to fix this rattle can. Something is shaking like crazy and it's not the panel itself because I can push and move it from any spot and the sound still persists so its something internal. I can even hear it in the fender well from...
The last few days the satellite radio will get stuck on whatever channel I was last on. Steering controls to change channels will not actually change the channel but the screen will appear as if its changing. The touch screen will change it though. I tried the "soft" reset with the 10 second...
The gasket is just a smaller diameter and thicker so the "bolt" doesn't hit that structural rib on the hard top. I have the top off right now so a pic won't help much.
Yeah for sure. It's a trail cover for dust and dew but I will say as compared to nothing it did an adequate job. I would have been in real trouble without it.
I used your method and for now the problem still exists when I hit about 60. I will have to have the wife drive with me in the back seat to try to locate the leak. Not a huge deal but annoying.
I did end up with a little water on the visors and the rear cupholders but not enough that a small towel couldn't handle. I think those aligned with seams in the cover. It did keep the electronics dry. @JBowles you will love it when it finally arrives.
I just gave the 2 door trail cover it's first rain test. It did a pretty good job handling a surprise shower. It is not rated as "waterproof" but it did appear to keep the water out and it was beading up on it. Because there is a large area in the middle of the Bronco that is open I had about...
Just paid the taxes and transferred the plates Saturday. I will say I get a lot of gawkers now that the hard top is off. Every time I park I get people leaning in to inspect :) Not a lot of 2 doors rolling around yet but I have seen a couple.
I am curious about rattling. I have the B&O with the sub that would fire directly into the side of this. I am wondering if I would need to sound proof it somehow. My wrangler had a similar trunk like this from the factory and I loved it for leaving a few things in the vehicle somewhat secure.
