Huge Zach Bryan fan. My daughter got me hooked on him. His concert near Kansas City was our first road trip in our Bronco. I just watched this video this morning for the first time.
He has a couple of tunes that reference Broncos (Heavy Eyes and Corinthians). Good, Oklahoma country music.
Took delivery a week and a half ago. Zero signs of sitting in a parking lot or field from January to April. Car was detailed and clean. Under the hood was spotless. Water spots on the soft top but took it through the touchless (no leaks) and it is good. It looks like they added the soft top roll...
OBX, Non-Sas, upgraded gearing to 4.27, with a 2.3L. I just rolled over the 500 mile mark and that puts me at 50% highway and 50% city. I have kept the fuel at 87 octane and have averaged 20.1 MPG to this point. I am a putter, so I have been in Eco and Normal mode. The top has also been flipped...
I am satisfied with the B&O sound. Sitting here reading this and adjusting to my preferred sound. So much depends on the type of music. This is the setting (without a sub installed) that sounds the best to me.
I am officially a Bronco owner! Shipped on April 12 and picked up today. Arrived with 47 miles. @Granger Ford is everything we have heard!
Three hour drive home to surprise the kids at school pickup! Only one pic so far…
Love all the stalking at Granger pics!
I had a great day for shipping. I had been held up in Chicago since 4/15. This morning it said I was to be moved to Blue Island at 7:00 PM. The same message every day for the past week. Called this afternoon to track and my Bronco had left Kansas City...
Yes… There is some odd shame and guilt with it. I know people aren’t upset with us or feel we scammed. It was the changed game. However, I don’t share that I am a Grangetober order often.
I have gone from a “Build You Vehicle” site expert, to pizza and back door tracker expert, and now to a railroad expert. I need a hobby. I have searched endlessly for timeline information when I was first built and in production. Trying to decode a “typical” delivery time. No answer for that...
Eh. I have been blessed with a VIN from Granger as an October reservation holder. I will not complain as I somehow skipped others who committed before I did. They could have sent this thing through Iowa, but it looks like the trip from Chicago to KC is wicked quick. Omaha is only a couple hours...
Mine is on its way now. Here is my timeline:
In Production: 1/14
Built Status: 3/28
Built Email: 3/29
Shipped Email: 4/12
Rail Car Number received from Hunter: 4/13
Rail Car in Ohio: 4/14
Rail Car in Chicago: 4/15
I am stuck there still. Two guys from Granger with the same build week were...
My Bronco is in route. I am trying to lineup financing options prior to my visit. How far off is the WBDO from the final purchase agreement? Just trying to plan. I know tx/title/license, accessories, service plans, etc aren’t included. I am not expecting any surprises and don’t want any either.
Big shout out to Brooke on the @Granger Ford team. I feel like a nuisance asking questions. Since my initial ask, they have changed their responses to screenshots from their system. It clarifies the optional items. The price is lower than Flood as described. I also dug out my purchase agreement...
