thanks for the update - keep us posted on the black version and if you are going gloss or matte or...?
I would be interested in a non glossy black version for sure
cheers
now we just need part numbers so we can endeavor on another somewhat useless but look what I can do with time and too much money and don't tell my wife project
I was looking at the pics and wondering the same thing. The pushed in "split" is a lance, that is where the 2 halves of the crossmember fit together. One half sits on the lance from the other half, this helps sets a consistent width for the crossmember when it sits in the tool while being welded.
I am leaning towards both - installing a single fan in the gate to exhaust and one or two on the roll bar. This is for the comfort of my 2 pups. I am sure the back cargo area is fine temperature wise, but this is not an expensive project and my boys love sitting in front of fans, so why not...
I have a manual with 35's on it. It is a non squatch but being badlands has the 4.7 gears. I have no issue with the power, and you can go the route of ford tune or other if you still want more torque to turn the 35's
I just love rowing gears more than I would miss the extra power. There is...
if you want to put 35" tires on look for 4.7 gears. As others have said either black diamond or badlands., badlands if you want leather.
I bought a badlands because i did not want vinyl, I also have a manual trans so can't answer on how much the autos search for gears. I will say I could not...
Interesting idea. I was going to do the opposite and have fans blowing into the cargo area instead of exhausting. I may do this instead, thanks for posting
@dadjoke what fan specs did you go with, wondering how loud they are?
just checked the build & price in Kentucky
a 24 OBX is 4 door only with no 2.7. Once upon a time selecting the squatch package brought in the 2.7, but at roughly 6,500 buckaroos it should. Unfortunately now it does not
picking a 23 you can pick 2 or 4 door and the 2.7, and the squatch package...
if the same between 2 & 4 door dramatically increases your group size
If you were closer I would consider, but I don't have any trips planned to your area any time soon
GLWS
that's unfortunate you are not getting a response
I have not ordered from them in the last 6 months, maybe they are communicating less these days
Have you tried calling them?
also noticed the cupholder shown has what I am guessing are spring loaded tabs to hold the drink steady. Wish my manual had those!
I may grab one as well - my key is always bouncing around
Yes, they are a one piece mirror that has a different field of view compared to the OEM mirrors. They most definitely show more in the mirror than the oem's
I do have someone else interested in these that has messaged me, just fyi
I for one am not dismissing others complaints, just passing on my experience which has been positive. It would be disrespectful to dismiss those who have had a good experience as well
