Then buy your own damn trailer and/or tell your dad to buy a vehicle so he can tow his?
I don't know man.
I really find it odd when people come searching for solutions and shoot down every one that's offered.
What you're towing on the trailer won't change, I assume. So why not change the trailer. Sounds fairly heavy. I'm betting a single axle open trailer should hold 2 quads just fine and drop a lot of weight.
Google says utility quads can get up to 750ish pounds. 1500 pounds of quads leaves a...
High package additional sound deadening would be elsewhere is my guess.
Could be the fabric in the wheel wells crap, or under carpet or spray out interior.
High package is not limited to hardtopped models, so I doubt it's on the hardtop.
They're made by Webasto, who also makes Jeep tops, who also had delays with Jeep tops.
We have a member here who works for them but he's been pretty tight lipped.
Almost everything you're bitching about can be turned off. Pull an abs fuse, push a button, whatever.
Seems like a bunch of "get off my lawn to me," and I pay all my bills with a check and a stamp.
Also, I think your take on the forum is wrong all together. There's room for all.
Majority of vehicles are shipped via rail, then truck. At least three middle men. Railroad, yard operator who unloads railcars, and truck driver.
As a truck driver you should understand how middlemen can jack up prices.
It's pretty standard across all manufacturers.
All badges that are stuck on (most) get removed on all of my vehicles.
I'll be looking for a way to get rid of the BRONCO on the grill as well, aftermarket grill probably. In the end I'm thinking the horse on the steering wheel and Bronco badge under the shifter will be all that's left...
Fo sho.
Factory tint is nice. But I always end up at a minimum supplementing it with aftermarket tint for the front windows.
For the life of me I can't understand why manufacturers don't include front door glass in their tint packages. Unless some backward ass states don't allow it.
Anybody...
I get it. Just had to trash talk your rig is all.
You'll love keyless entry. Not having to put your hand in your pocket for keys/fob/phone is so very nice. Walk up and push a button!
Is it going to be on line within schedule?
Why all of a sudden are they not going to be able to meet demand?
Is there an issue holding up production of the mod tops?
Are the delays Covid related?
I know you can only say so much, maybe even nothing. I don't hold any ill will.
Just saying...
Considering you couldn't even find such normal amenities as LED headlamps, push button start, or keyless entry on your current $50k rig I'd say Ford is doing alright!
I dig the Bison, and considered one until finding out I couldn't even option things that my $20k FiST had standard. That and...
But you're using the end model year of the second generation Raptor as a point of comparison.
Think about the going rate for a Raptor vs F-150 in Dec of 2009. That should give you an idea of real world Braptor (Warthog is an idiotic name for this) vs Bronco pricing when released.
