I have already put the Bronco issue on IRV2. I am not sure and with out a lot of effort to confirm the problem exists across platforms. I am assuming it should. Especially the F-150. Probably naive, but I think if we keep working on it we will find a solution and eventually the NTHSB should...
I will be very interested in your findings and your conversations with Demco and others. I reached out to Demco this morning and they said its a Bronco problem, they had no contacts and Ford was going to have to address it. They also said there was no supplemental braking system on the market...

First welcome to the thread. I am assuming you were flat towing. When you say brake indicator are you referring to the light provided by Airforce one that is mounted to be seen from the coach? I am not sure why that would not fire cause Airforce 1 is still working just not on a boosted...
Thankfully I am not an attorney, I suspect the cohort is not big enough for a class action, we are going to have to pressure them from other angles. That being said if we have a bronco owner that is affected and is a class action attorney, maybe he or she will chime in.
My next step is to author certified signature required letters to the entire executive team, board members, NTHSB, director of NTHSB. I will also copy all major RV and Bronco Press outlets. It will take some time to put the list together. The letter will included evidence of the issue and of...
I think the lack of input from Ford is probably the most frustrating issue above all. I continue to believe this is a very simple fix if we could get a Ford engineer to look at and understand the issue. I am going to the Twitter again with another link to this thread. @Ford
So I just returned from a quick trip. Good news Grant is not crazy nor is his problem unique. Before unhooking I pulled the brake away switch, moved coach forward Bronco did not offer much resistance. Replaced brake away and cycled the lock and unlock then pulled brake away, Bronco squatted...
Charge line is best practice. In the old days it was just for brake and running lights. Now that everything is controlled by a computer including the transition into neutral transfer case. There is some speculation that a low battery, in the f-150 world, can cause it to terminate tow mode...
EBB and BMS is central to the issue related to any NTHSB complaint. 2.3 vacuum has no known issue.
Please do not post non EBB issues on this thread. IE mounts, hooks, etc.

I did a basic test yesterday. Flat tow mode, window down, broom stick, not hooked up to coach or battery charger. Not jacked up but able to roll it. Checked at 10 min intervals for an hour. Could roll without brake being applied, used broom stick to push brake pedal could not push when...
Interior guy, I have your set up installed. It’s hard to test the way Grant has. Will be interested in your out come. I am going to do some testing over the weekend.
This is great stuff! I pick up the Bronco from Autonation tomorrow. They have had it for almost a week. Verified that the Bronco is working as designed and there is nothing wrong on Fords end. They suspect that “if” there is an issue it is on the Airforce One or install. I will look and...
Tilzbow, Grant has tested it by jacking up one corner and manually turning a wheel before and after. You are correct it resets if you open a door or cycle the locks with the key fob.
I took mine into Autonation Ford in Scottsdale today for an oil change and to have them look at the system...
Returned from CA today flat towing with out incident.
A few thoughts and comments from previous posts.
I feel it is wrong to think that Ford will just disallow flat towing as a solution. This would create a fire storm of bad press and possible liability. Conversely the solution is easy and...
