Heartfelt condolences for you and your family. I wish you and your family the strength and courage needed to somehow find peace in the face of this tragic event.

    Georgia Bronco

@Andrew72 Thank you! We are heading up Thursday night, planning on attending the Expo on Friday, then doing some exploring on Saturday and maybe a little more on Sunday before heading home.
  3. Homemade Top Dolly

Very nice! The functionality plus the artistic flair combine for a great solution. Unfortunately, my garage floor space is at a premium so I've had to go with a ceiling mounted hoist and storage approach.
  4. Homemade Top Dolly

Same for me (remove the roof rack to go topless). I'm trying to work out a solution wherein I can remove the TrailRax and the hardtop as a unit with my ceiling mounted hardtop hoist. Those 4 nuts on the front of the TrailRax (behind the wind deflector) are the difficult / tedious part.

@cake truly the best option that I can think of is get the OnX offroad app. I think there is a 7-day trial. It will tell you all you want to know about trails around you and the difficulty of each. I liked the trial so much, I've subscribed. It also integrates with the Carplay in the Bronco...

    Georgia Bronco

@MyATV Thank you. That's what I get for skimming the site vs. reading it. :-) It's one of my many faults. Tickets at the door it is.
  7. Ford Bronco eBike Released 🚲

See, I thought, "hey, that's gonna cost a pretty penny", but I was thinking, maybe $2500, but like much of the Bronco world, this thing is so over the top priced that well, I went from considering it, to no way, oh no, not gonna do it! BTW - I am indeed in the market for eBikes so this would...
  8. Broke my steering rack in a fun new way (high centered)!

With the exception of the break, this looks like it was a great adventure. And now even with the break, it's a story that you can tell for a lifetime. :-) Glad it all worked out and you were able to finish your adventure!

    Georgia Bronco

For those who have attended in the past, do we need to purchase tickets ahead of time or at the door will work fine? Considering lines, capacity, etc. We're planning on going on Friday. Can the entire event be enjoyed in a single day or should we really plan to be there for both days...
  10. Illinois Route 66 Trip

Great moments. We [my wife and I] are planning an entire Route 66 journey, from start to finish. On the beaten path and off. Regarding "what the Bronco is made for"... imo, it's made for adventure, whatever that adventure be for you, may you always find the path and enjoy the journey...

    Georgia Bronco

I've seen this advertised and pop up on a number of feeds. This is on my wife and I's radar, however it now looks like Disney and Universal instead. And I do need a rear bumper, so I was looking forward to the Stampede. Plans change frequently around these parts, so perhaps there is still a...
  12. Cheap vs. Expensive Lights

I've installed Lasfit fog and driving pods on the modular bumper and Rough Country OSRAM pods as ditch lights. All wired through my aux switches so they are fused. So far, no issues, but I'll admit I don't hard-core off-road and don't need to light up the night so, for my intended purpose...
  13. New Braptor border to border run with 500 miles of offroad fun

Thank you for sharing this amazing trip! I'm now adding these places to my plans for trips out west (from Georgia) over the next year or so. Great tips!! And I'm one of those "not fond of heights" people, so I'll be cautiously enjoying. NOTE: Million Dollar Highway trip for us last year was...
  14. On X on our screen

I use Apple Carplay and OnX (just this weekend actually), and yes, there are some differences in what you can see and do on the vehicle display and what can be done on the phone (tablet). However, we were definitely able to navigate our planned route using the vehicle touch display, we were...
  15. Announced: Ford Guided Overland Adventure with Your Bronco for $4K & up

Although, I do love me some NM time! However, I can make numerous trips on my own for that kind of money. (I also grew up there, so it's like going home) :)

    Georgia Bronco

This is good news and I'd love to be able to "re-attend" Off-Rodeo. My wife and I made the drive out to Off-Rodeo Texas which was great, but having a location so close (just 3 hrs. for me) would be awesome. Guess my only option is to buy a second Bronco so I can get to go again! :-)
  17. Lightweight Overlanding Camper/trailers ideal for BRONCO

I realize this is an old post but having recently done some research on the Base Camp (16' REI) we've decided that the Bronco and Basecamp does not seem to be a compatible option. Note: I'm definitely interested in Bronco owners who have actually towed the Basecamp with their Bronco and the...
  18. Quick question: Ford Service Plan on your Bronco, anyone try to get a refund?

Concur. We’ve used multiple service shops. Perhaps we just haven’t found the right one. The tipping point and what just really got to us, was the way the service manager proceeded to yell at my wife (she’s the one who typically takes the Bronco in for service due to my work schedule) for...
  19. Quick question: Ford Service Plan on your Bronco, anyone try to get a refund?

Correct the tire rotation was just the example, a relevant example, but minor in the big picture. It just raises concern of what else isn’t being done that I can’t readily confirm. Just no confidence and for what I paid I guess I was a bit naive in thinking that Ford would be the best place to...
