What kind of phone do you have? I received 2 versions and both appeared to be the same. Only the USB-A port charges my Samsung sufficiently, neither of rhe USB-C ports do. Phone states something wrong with charger (not supported or slow, can't recall) and I used other cables that had no issues...

I'd tighten all the screws. I've found one of mine tends to come loose and that causes a rattle. I've only hand tightened it back and it's silent for a while. Need to heed my own advice and get a screwdriver, though since it's silent after hand tightening, I forget...😆
