Most will suggest a retune after modifying any part of your engine. You’ll want to maximize that increased airflow. I watched a video on the 2.3 with a tune and the HP/Torque numbers were noticeable but the 0-60 increased by almost 2 seconds. Just the best way to get the most out of your motor.
Biggest thing for me right now is the 2.7 with the manual. Seems quite a few are forgetting the fun in modifying your own steed. ?? so corny but still true.
This thread is a prime example of the impatient give it to me now society we live in now. I’m with you, the anticipation will make that delivery date so much sweeter.
Not to be a dick but no shit. That was in response to someone’s argument saying it wasn’t happening because of the selector panel. The selector panel will be adjusted based on equipment.
And this is the reason I'm getting the badlands. I'll take the lockers/suspension and sway bar disconnect from the factory and swap out tires any day of the week. Especially considering it'd be comparable or way over the same price for upgrading the Black Diamond.
Bro you're eligible for the military auto source purchasing. Factory price, no dealership markups/delivery fees plus an automatic rebate lock-in for the lowest rebate until you pick up the bronco. I'll message you the email of my rep and he can help you out if you have more questions.
So I...
I was wondering about this as well. I have a 2013 F150 with the 5.0 and I was seriously considering getting the 2.7L powerplant and doing a straight up swap..... Then I remembered one special thing. "warranty"!
I said that in jest on another post because it keeps getting thrown around on here like those jabronies know more than what is being told to the public, just like you said.
In this case, "my rep" is the individual I'm going through with military auto source to order my Bronco and, according to...
Does the Badlands come standard with a hardtop? I've been going back and forth on a black diamond w/ squatch or badlands with 33's and then swap out the tires on my own right after purchase. There's some tire retailers that will do really good deals on brand new tires if you're buying from...
My rep told me that 2-doors will be rolling out first in April and then 4 door reasonable timeframe would be this time next year. Just gives me more time to save $$$ to put down which = more goodies from the factory!
Very good point but if you get the sasquatch package on the base you'll get the updated dashtop buttons for the lockers, they could just as easily add the sway bar disconnect.
Yep absolutely but think about it this way, can you add sway bar disconnect to a wrangler sport? I just hope they allow the manual with the 2.7 by build time. I’ve pretty much all but decided on going with the badlands and immediately changing the tires and fenders.
