Wow ok. Thatās concerning. I bought high grade washers and nuts (better than what LOD supplied) to go with factory bolts, but chose to use the factory nut plates as I figured that would give more surface area than 1.25ā washers. But itās easy enough to swap the plate with nuts/washers.
I decided to cut the factory nut plate so that I could use them for reinstallation of my bumper and winch mount. Remember these factory nut plates donāt work with the LOD bracket kit. Itās because the piece that connects the 2 parts contacts the LOD brackets.
And I added a couple final pics
Installed my LOD brackets last weekend and reinstalled mod bumper. Still need to reinstall the winch that I put on 2 months ago. Hereās a pic mid-install ā¦
FWIW, I ordered ICON for my 2021 Badlands and 3 of 5 wheels arrived badly damaged. Was not the shipping as the packaging was fine. I returned them and went with black KMC XD132s.
Hey there and welcome to NC! Iām on the other side of town, just west of Apex, out towards Pittsboro. I hope to get to Uwharrie as well if I can break free soon.
JCR. I got for only $199 when they first offered them in Nov 2021. Was bitch to install (holes didnāt line up and needed modification) but I like it overall.
Thanks TD and others for this info. Looking forward to updates. I recently installed a winch with the RC high mount but havenāt put it to much use yet.
Awesome! Good luck with the project. Not a fan of painted flares, except maybe on Raptor. Makes the Broncos look too Jeep-Sahara like š¢ But to each their own. Again, best wishes!
I have non-SAS Badlands with E-rated Toyo Open Country AT3. I run 34 psi front and 32 psi rear and havenāt noticed any significant roughness in the ride or difference from the factory tires.
Hey Miles. I probably wonāt be able to make it until sometime in May but Iām sure youāll be able to find some folks. Are you part of BOTC (Broncos of the Carolinas)?
Never an issue here. As an early reservation holder (July 2020), I received about 220K points. Was not hard to spend. BUT note that I was told by my dealer recently that points expire after 18 months. So I used up my last points to buy a bunch of Motorcraft oil and filters, etc.
I have Titan 1ā spacers and love them. Good quality and reasonable price. They have several sizes.

Iām not a big audiophile so I just swapped out the 4ā speakers with Kenwoods and added a Kicker Hideaway HS8 to the floor behind front drivers seat. Total cost over a year ago was like $350 and the bang for buck was tremendous, especially the bass added with Kicker!
@broadicustomworks I like your solution on the inset nuts. If you donāt mind me asking, what size and where did you get those and the flush bolts? Thanks!
