  1. One of the Largest Manufacturers Gone Bankrupt!!!

The article is paywalled, but don't need to read it to get an idea. If an auto parts manufacture is going BK in an environment where the average new car price tag is $50k+ and folks are looking to make pennies stretch to nickels right now - then it has to be poor management...
  2. Front suspension “thump” noise/feel?

The issue really isn't all that uncommon in 4x4's in general. There used to be a time when you would "service" the drive shaft....aka....fill it back up with grease from a grease gun via the manufacturer installed zerk fitting on the drive shaft itself. So for the dealership to be "clueless", in...
  3. 2029 GMC Jimmy coming with V8, BOF, removal roof, retro styling to take on Bronco

At 52, I've owned 20 vehicles in my life. Only two have been American made. The first one, a 1994 forest green 4-door Jimmy SLT from 1997-1999. It took me 25 years to come back to the American brands again with my current green 2024 bronco. That's how bad that Jimmy was. That being...
  4. Jeep Fires Affect 1M+ Wranglers & Gladiators

Any brand these days can have issues like this now. Just too much electrical influence in the industry. What I would never do is have my EV charger inside my garage. I'm sure more fires started by weed-wacker batteries out there, but still.
  5. Front suspension “thump” noise/feel?

This sounds just like the driveshafts of the 2000's Toyota 4-Runners (had an 05' V8). It would do exactly what is being described here, and even note one poster got a new one and it came back. The solution on the 4-Runner was to grease the drive shaft via the zerks and grease gun. Would have to...
  6. Help repeal the roadless rule in national forrest.

Supported, if for anything else - wildfire mitigation! Haven't we seen how bad that can be already in not only our country, but our continent (Canada) and the world in general?
  7. Bronco Sales & Production Report For May 2026

I can certainly understand the appeal to some, and I am certain to lose this debate as time is marching forward without me. It just goes against my OCD of things being placed where things need to be placed. To me, all of the screens just feels like the driver's instrument cluster of yesteryear...
  8. Bronco Sales & Production Report For May 2026

Next shoe to drop in the "ev" world, is the overwhelming "tech" dashboards. While I'm sure the current lending environment plays a notable role (although Bronco's aren't exactly cheap), I think the Expedition's results speak to my point somewhat. It got scratched off our list of potential...
  9. 2027 Bronco Filson: Specs, Price, Features, Everything You Need to Know

Yep agree that’s fair! In the wife’s merc, rarely are the windows down and roof open when chilly out. Different animals!
  10. 2027 Bronco Filson: Specs, Price, Features, Everything You Need to Know

B-Wagon. I like it. Look forward to the aftermarket finding a way to mimic the ventilated front seats. Heated rear seats seems like a waste. The rear isn’t exactly a lounge area that anyone would want to spend a lot of time in. We have heated rears in our Merc GLS (which is a lounge area) and...
  11. Bronco Sliding Glass Roof Revealed In Patent Filing

Neighbor has a Wrangler with that top, think it's called a "sky view"? HT with fabric along the top that slides/folds all the way to the very back of the car. Don't think they've ever had a problem with it. It's about 5 years old now I think.
  12. Question on Buying New 2025 Bronco with Higher Mileage

100% agree as well. Unless if the vehicle was actually titled away from Ford into the dealership's name, it is technically still "inventory", with the warranty not active until the first sale (aka "placed in service date"). Otherwise, basically every new car warranty would be mileage minus...
  13. Flat/flush center dash mount?

That is exactly what I’m looking for!
  14. Bronco Sliding Glass Roof Revealed In Patent Filing

Seems more appropriate for a future/revised Lincoln version. Definitely going to need to strengthen up the body to keep something like that from failing (cracks, leaks, etc). Think it would be difficult to keep it stable enough to be fully functional over time.
  15. Flat/flush center dash mount?

Yep, that’s basically it minus the rest of the setup, just the hula base to screw into the mount! Gotta have some fun in life!!
  16. Flat/flush center dash mount?

Wow!! Really? I will gladly pay you for the time and materials (and shipping of course)! No rush no hurry at all. I’ll send you a PM shortly with details! Basically just looking for a small flat surface that I can place items like that on via some Velcro without having to mess with the dashboard...
  17. Flat/flush center dash mount?

I’m trying to find a flat mount for the center dash mounting point, maybe the size of say a silver dollar. I want a place to velco down a bobble head (actually Hula girl) on the dash board. Everything I see arm for telescoping arms (phone holders) and heavier usage. Anyone know where I might...
  18. Bronco after 100k miles

Back in the late 90's, my buddy had an old Fox Body mustang. We called it the Rustang, lived in Illinois and along the coast of NC for its entire life. it was a 4 cylinder, stick. That thing saw well past 200k miles on the original clutch!!
  19. AI Roast Your Bronco 🔥

Microsoft CoPilot roast! Nailed it.... Alright, buckle up — because your Bronco is about to take some friendly fire. Your Bronco looks like it’s living a double life: weekday Home Depot employee, weekend REI influencer. Indoors it’s posing like, “Yeah, I definitely do rugged stuff,” while...
  20. Drop Your Best Bronco Shot. We're Featuring Our Favorites.

I want to be this guy! Awesome photos, and makes me jealous as mine mostly lives in the concrete jungle of Washington DC.
