Still off. It's the 34,000 which is wrong. How many forum members have taken delivery of their 2.7 Bronco. ? Maybe someone could figure that out. Say it's 1000. 25/1000= 2.5%. Either way it's clear your opinion won't be swayed.
Man that's a bummer. So much for me holding onto the notion that the 2.3 engine is bullet proof. Did your dealer give any more information other than "the engine failed" ?
How is it 25 out of 34,000? It's 25 out of however many forum members have Broncos with the 2.7 engine. That's just a small sampling of a likely much larger problem. I may not be a math professor but your numbers aren't adding up. ;)
They also drive like a school bus, are underpowered, and have a ridiculously low amount of head room. But hey, "It''s No Bronco!" :ROFLMAO: Kidding aside, hope you are enjoying your new ride.
Has anyone thought about compiling this list and sending it the the NHTSA (I'm guessing that's the right agency) for investigation? Someone outside of Ford should take a look at this if there have been that many failures among just forum members and nothing from Ford regarding a recall.
I'm still showing week of 1/10 through back door tracker as well. Had a window sticker now it's gone, but from what I've read on other threads this is not concerning.
Video demonstrates an issue with his soft top not latching into place on the sides. I'm wondering how many people might unknowingly not have their soft top secured properly, allowing the sides to come up.
