In the video Matt says to always use 4 low in the sand. I thought 4 low was for rock crawling at very low speeds. Sand mode defaults to 4 high. Using 4 low driving through sand adds unnecessary stress to the vehicle and could result in overheating the transmission - am I wrong?
I will say it blows very cold and quite fast. Not much delay if any after turning it on. We just returned from a week long trip to Topsail Island in NC and it was extremely hot and humid. I have a 4 door soft top, and everyone was comfortable even in the back seats for what turned out to be a 9...
Wow very sorry to hear of your misfortune. Glad you were able to get your Bronco back. You may want to consider installing a deadbolt on the door which enters your house off of the garage (?) People really suck.
I have the 2.3 engine with the 10 speed. I keep mine in 4A most all of the time, sometimes in sport mode too. I find the shifts pretty smooth, the only exception is it's occasionally "jerky" as it comes to a stop if it's not in sport mode. Overall I'm pretty impressed with it.
Sorry that happened to you - I take it that you had the child locks engaged and they were still able to open the door? I received a recall notice for the child locks. My kids are now in middle school but tested it myself and it seems to works fine. Still waiting to be scheduled for my windshield.
Looks like they still have a lot of work to do after the debacle with the Mach-E batteries. Also what are people supposed to do who live in an apartment and cannot plug their cars in overnight? The charging infrastructure is way behind. Hopefully if we are being pushed this direction they will...
I was coming on here to ask this very question. My local dealer said it may take up to 4 days for the fix since they have to send it out to a company qualified to do the recall work. Couldn't guarantee that 1) Ford would approve more than one day loaner/ rental or that 2) One would be available.
Selling 4 stock tires from my Outer Banks, just the tires not the rims. Bridgestone Dueler A/T, 255/70R18. Like new with roughly 3,000 miles on them. We replaced them with highway tires and these need to go as they are taking up space in my garage. All reasonable offers considered. I am in...
FWIW I switched out the tires on my Outer Banks to these Continental Terrrain Contact H/T and am quite pleased with the improvement in not only ride quality but also braking distance and MPG which is now close to 24. And they do just fine driving on the beach which is the extent of my off...
I have a 2022 OBX with the plastic bumper and it looks like Diode Dynamics makes two yellow fog light options which look nice. I like the combination of white LED headlights with yellow fogs on country roads and in the snow or fog.
Has anyone installed either of these and if so do you like...
Interesting. Too much yellow, would prefer a dark top and to have the spare tire on the back. Also the grill doesn't look right to me, too much yellow again. I like the chrome bumpers and wheels though.
I installed a deadbolt on the house door leading to our garage as extra "peace of mind" a while back, just in case anyone ever did get in through the garage door. Not a whole lot in our actual garage of value.
I've had what sounds like the same thing happen to me on 2 different occasions, once back in February and another time in March. Both times I was driving on the beach, with sand mode engaged. The 1st time everything was great for maybe 20 minutes then all sorts of error messages (hill start...
