I would stay away from the factory ppf and go with XPEL. I’ve read a lot about PPF on here, but I haven’t seen anybody discuss how the film affects paint fading. If you only do certain parts of the truck, will the uncovered parts fade differently than the protected parts?
You really can’t complain about this, since lots of people on here ordered Broncos with early res dates to turn around and sell. That’s assuming these were abandoned orders
I remember seeing one post about dealer instructions prior to B&P being released. It said dealers needed to go in and set pricing rules. I’m not sure about the inflated options cost, but line E23 certainly looks like your dealer is adding $2k ADM
I can’t say I’m totally surprised. Since I’m a hard top, I was shocked to be scheduled for 12/6. I talked to the GM at my dealer and he was too. He said he had quite a few early res holders scheduled for that week. He also said that Ford usually shuts down for a few weeks in December, but...
I live down the street from a dealer in Houston so I see their mannequin daily. I’ve seen 2 out in the wild. What I have not seen is a bronco with hardtop at a dealer or in the wild. Makes me super pumped to get my 12/6 build week bronco.
Completely agree, that’s why I went with OBX and navy pier leather. With 2.7, MIC and SAS, it’s basically a wildtrak. Planning to replace the silver beauty rings with black rings and possibly paint the mirrors gloss back.
TBH I don’t care about Granger or Chapman either. I have never owned anything but a Ford and I have an excellent relationship with my local Ford dealer. My company maintains a fleet of more than 30 Ford vehicles ranging from Rangers to F650’s. I am a Ford person, not a former Jeep person looking...
Let’s see Jeep stop making Wranglers for 25 years, then reintroduce the model in 2046 in the middle of an epidemic caused by another novel coronavirus that wreaks havoc on supply chains. Only then can you compare ordering a bronco to ordering we a wrangler.
I’m a 7/14 res, 1/25 order date with a 4 door obx with MIC, sas, lux, 2.7 and tow package. I’m very shocked I get scheduled. I have every constrained item and Ford previously said if you had a hard top and no vin you would be pushed to 2022. Ordered from Helfman Ford in Houston area
In this case, it was probably more of an under promise so that you can over deliver… that’s a welcome departure from over promise and under deliver
