I wouldn't bet on that. Mine 2-dr manual was built in Feb of '24 and the transmission has a revision level code of -AC. Apparently, the revision level for the latest updated transmission is now at Rev E. So no telling how many updates mine (and probably yours) is missing.
Transfer case fluid change at 5k miles this evening. You can see some grit in pan. Zero offroading so far - this is city and highway driving. Also changed the engine oil using Amsoil. Differentials and manual trans are next.
Finally got around to some of the wiring for my DV8 bumper install. I purchased a Rigid 20" Radiance + lightbar, which allows you to chose different color backlighting. This is my first attempt at adding lights into the aux switches and it went over like a fart in church.
I'll have to...
Yeah, I don't want to beat a dead horse or disparage the supplier, but these ADD frame horn brackets are not right. The "shim" leads me to believe that the die punches for the bumber bolt pass through holes were installed incorrectly when the tooling was manufactured. Unfortunately, that...
Yeah, that's was another option I am considering. There are other fitment issues with the brackets however, and they do not fit flush against the back of the frame horn as advertised. I'm leaving them off for now, as I'm running short of time and need to install a bumper. These brackets will...
Trying to install my aftermarket bumper this weekend. After reading some of the forum posts on the frame gussets, I ordered a set from Addictive Desert Designs. However, what I discovered after the install is that the bumper nut plate no longer fits into place. So either I modify these ADD...
Look at it like this - it could be worse. I actually worked in quality control for 12 years at the plant that manufactures these vehicles, so I know all the build quality issues. Imagine arriving at the dealer and eyeballing every fit and finish on every panel. I have a woopdie-doop in the...
Silly question, but how to the back lights work? The post by ajnotoj shows all the lights off, then backlights on and finally full power lights on. I see the there is a pigtail specifically for the backlight for the stock wire harness connections. Will the backlights also work with the aux...
I think the SS3's are the way to go. I can still use the stock pigtails from the foglights I'll be removing. And I can do combo lighting while still using these on the street.
