  1. Might be getting an answer soon about the 2.7 w/ auto for $1,895

I think a “nah, nah, told you so” is more appropriate. I’d bet my reservation that either 4dr base or big bend is wrong on b&p, they both can’t be right. I don’t care which is correct as much as it’s going to determine which model I buy.
  2. Do I need really the Sasquatch???

I think your assumption on price won’t work out, I think you’re assuming it includes auto trans. I look at the 5700 price tag on base and ask, do I really need a $6k off-road package, or could I just add some 33s and maybe wheels and be just as happy. I personally don’t think I’ll be off-road...
  3. Big Bend beats Black Diamond!

A few thoughts. Cloth is also standard on wildtrak. Cheapest house in the best neighborhood would be big bend, no?
  4. Might be getting an answer soon about the 2.7 w/ auto for $1,895

I hadn’t really been on the forum in weeks leading up to the b&p launch... enjoying the new excitement and enjoy the contentiousness
  5. Might be getting an answer soon about the 2.7 w/ auto for $1,895

So mid package is 1500.. you think ford intends to include an automatic transmission with mid package purchase?
  6. Might be getting an answer soon about the 2.7 w/ auto for $1,895

Yeah, that one Twitter post confirming b&p pricing triggered the ceo to say, “hey guys we could have made an extra $2,000,000, let’s raise prices. How come nobody thought about charging people for an auto transmission. “ if you think ford was going to honor a pricing error on b&p that’s...
  7. Resale value worth the sale?

if you take a marketing class you will learn that companies always charge a premium when products launch because a certain population “has to have it first” and will pay a premium. What people are discussing is called investing. If you don’t like the fact that it’s in a car, then sucks for you.
  8. Might be getting an answer soon about the 2.7 w/ auto for $1,895

This thread is getting annoying. The math doesn’t work when you compare different trims and options. If they screwed up they aren’t just gonna give everyone a free 1600 transmission if we keep quiet, it’s not the way the world works. So we ask for confirmation or them to fix it and we know the...
  9. Might be getting an answer soon about the 2.7 w/ auto for $1,895

You’re right on the price, but that makes even less sense about the mid. They aren’t just giving a free tranny bc you buy the mid package or 2.7. The fact that the options breakdown always shows $0 leads me personally to believe that it’s wrong and they are going to fix the site to add 1600...
  10. Might be getting an answer soon about the 2.7 w/ auto for $1,895

Yeah the issue is standalone upgrade for the auto is 1495, so it’s definitely not free :) hopefully we’ll have a b&p relaunch event next Friday with some of this stuff fixed
  11. Might be getting an answer soon about the 2.7 w/ auto for $1,895

I think I was originally talking abt the 4dr base which includes auto, but for the sake of clarity I thought outer banks was a better example. I hope it’s just a programming mistake and the engine upgrade on base 4dr is only 300, if it is I’ll be all over it.
  12. Might be getting an answer soon about the 2.7 w/ auto for $1,895

What I’m saying is the outbanks has auto included without adding any options(a 1495 value as you stated). yet the price to upgrade 2.3 to 2.7 is 1895 still...the same as getting that upgrade plus auto transmission. so why the F would the engine upgrade alone cost 1895 on outer banks. So either...
  13. Might be getting an answer soon about the 2.7 w/ auto for $1,895

You think it makes sense that going from 2.3 manual to 2.7 auto costs 1895. And going from 2.3 auto to 2.7 auto costs the same? They just give some people a free auto upgrade or they are double charging for auto trans on the models that come standard.
  14. Might be getting an answer soon about the 2.7 w/ auto for $1,895

They were going to give the 1895 price when you order if it was wrong on b&P, might as well find out the real price now
  15. Might be getting an answer soon about the 2.7 w/ auto for $1,895

So the 4dr base and outer banks which come with automatic as standard equip, also charge 1895, although it seems it should only cost $300 to upgrade the engine. One of them is incorrect
  16. Texas Houston - Upgrade stock OB wheels / tires to beadlock 33" A/T

I think people will swap all wheels depending on style.. I would guess 18s might be less demand
  17. Poll:trim change i.e.:base to badlands

Can you define the question further? I can’t imagine them changing their mind this late and not letting you change trim. By model do you mean bronco sport vs full size bronco?
  18. Is anyone debadging or rebadging their Bronco?

I wouldn’t want a badge on the side unless it was a chrome bronco or chrome bronco script. I may be in the minority, but I also think all the wranglers driving around with the trim spelled out on the hood look dumb/cheap/etc.
  19. Ford chat rep claims trim / model change will require new reservation

Would have been good to know before I cancelled the BD res and kept the base. I guess it’s Base for me!
  20. Resale value worth the sale?

Guys, you have no right to sell your property and take advantage of supply and demand. Please deduct 10% from the msrp if you are going to sell it within 1 year. If not you’re a capitalist pig and don’t deserve the honor of having any part of the sacred bronco. all kidding aside, you are...
