Not sure I understand this. It's a convertible SUV, what is more fun to road trip in than that? I've taken plenty of road trips in topless Wranglers. At least the Bronco is comfortable!

Turo doesn't have any around here, but I test drove one for a few hours and loved it. We want a fun road trip vehicle, it won't be our daily driver family hauler :)

I appreciate that point of view, but the adaptive cruise, B&O audio w/sub, wireless charger, and heated steering wheel are pretty important for me and for road trips. I'm not doing any off-roading for a few years until the kids are grown.

Well I have one dealer who is sure they can still do X-Plan on the Bronco. I asked her to triple verify tomorrow and if so I'm placing my order!

Ah, I didn't think dealers would use invoice price for a custom order.

How would you not be going off sticker if it's a new build? I don't think there's any incentives for the Bronco.

According to the dealer, X-Plan is different per trim and per model. The MSRP for the one I built is $58,815, but with X-plan it was $56,734.02, a savings of ~$2,081, which is 3.5%.

I was told by a dealer that X-Plan is enforced by Ford, and if they accept it on an ineligible model, they do not get the difference refunded back to them and would take a loss.

Well they're quoting me the 3.5% X-Plan pricing. I just told her to make absolutely sure the Bronco is eligible. I may have lost the savings by asking, but I'd rather get it correct.

One dealer is saying it is available on new orders only, but I think maybe they haven't looked closely enough. I'm worried that I will order and they will try and increase it later or right before hitting the button I'll get "oh actually...".

I suppose I could ask that. I wanted to get the pricing advantage since the dual tops is only $700 more than the hard top. Not sure they would honor that, but I will ask!

Man that would be a total bummer. I was really hoping to order dual tops, but warned that would likely push me out.

I was told if i place an order now, it may get pushed to a '24 model and I might lose price protection. Can anyone confirm if this is true?

I'm seeing conflicting info on X-Plan. Are any dealers currently accepting it for new orders? I read some are, or are discounting the new builds to make up for it? I was told by all my local dealerships that Ford is no longer accepting it and they would lose money since they won't get reimbursed.

I skimmed this thread a bit and am still not clear - is the Bronco X-Plan eligible or not? I see it listed as ineligible on the X-Plan website (https://www.axz.ford.com/partnerweb/pdf/IneligibleProducts.pdf) but my dealer didn't mention that at all in discussions and I'm ready to place my order!
