  1. Help me pick the best options for my wife's Bronco

Congratulations on the new addition to your family. Man I hate to rain on all the Bronco love. But as a father of five I honestly would have never considered the Bronco. I’d look at a Yukon or Suburban. That kid is gonna take up a ton of space when she or he goes anywhere. Car seat, diaper bag...
  2. Clean inside of soft top

I use the shop vac with the brush attachment. Haven’t gotten much but dust on the inside top so I can’t say what would work if it’s as bad as the outside getsšŸ˜Ž
  3. Newbie question about hood tie-downs

They are perfect for mounting the flag you need here in Michigan for off-roading.
  4. Questions about Silver Lake Sand Dunes

Greetings to all Bronco loving owners who have taken their vehicles to Silver Lake Sand Dunes. We have a Wildtrak and are heading to the park this weekend. I have run this bad boy thru all sorts or dirt, but not an environment like the dunes. A couple questions to give me a baseline. What tire...
  5. What a BIG bronco might look like…

Yea, no thanks. Ford did that with the original and by the time they stopped selling The Bronco it was basically a F150 in drag
  6. Sasquatch vs not, for "soccer mom use"

This was my wife. Coming from the practical mommy SUV. She was tired of that shit, and was looking for something different that was bad ass and fun. Bronco fit, and checked all the boxes. Honestly, I gotta enjoy it too
  7. Just removed hard top for 20th time. Observations & tips

Nice write up, lots of useful information and innovation on everyone’s part. Makes be appreciative of our soft top though.
  8. Sasquatch vs not, for "soccer mom use"

Sasquatch is the way to go. Factory done. Warranty. And looks great. Bronco is the wife’s daily and she loves it. Originally she fell in love with how it looked. Happy wife, happy life.
  9. Making my Bronco look more classic... waiting for 1968 Ford F-150 wheels to be done

She sure is Purdy🄰. Nice build. Now go out and get her filthy.
  10. Are your door hinges painted?

Quality is Job 1 once again at Ford. Mine are fully painted. Warranty item if you got the time to leave it at the dealer, if not match the paint and knock it out yourself if you want. Living in Michigan, I would be concerned about corrosion down the road.
  11. Purgatory

You have way more patience than I have. Two years waiting is beyond my comprehension. Unlike others who will tell you it’s worth it, nope I like the vehicle, but after using it for over a year, I don’t think it’s worth that much of a hassle. Good luck to you.
  12. SoftTop Noise Reduction.

Man, good for you. You identified a problem that drove you nuts and found a solution. Personally I would be in a different vehicle, made to have little noise in the cabin rather than go to all the effort you’ve put into reengineering the top. My forgetful self would drop the top on a beautiful...
  13. Anyone holding out long term to be a future classic, or in the Bronco for the long haul?

My opinion is that in 15 years, these vehicles are no different than anything on the market currently. I plan on using this vehicle as long as it’s reliable, just like any other vehicle I’ve purchased. I like the Bronco, but there’s a good chance something else is gonna get my attention down...
  14. What sort of prices are people seeing for their used Broncos?

Markets catching up to reality. I always got a chuckle when folks were posting about this vehicle being an instant classic and expecting to make a ton of money on it. Orders at msrp are being filled and the days of huge mark ups should be over. In another year or so, the Bronco is just going to...
  15. I THINK I got a good deal...am I wrong?

No hat! Deal breaker. Naw man if you’re happy, then you got a good deal. Nice Bronco Enjoy.
  16. 62k for Everglades?

Your money, your decision. To each his own. Why give be a shit what other people think. At the end of the day, you’re the one living with the decision. You wanted opinions, that’s mine.
  17. Soft top touchless car wash?

My two cents. Living in Michigan and the massive amount of salt that is poured onto our road during the winter I have no choice but to wash the Wildtrak frequently. It’s too damm cold to pull the buckets out, so I found a local Touchless Car Wash and it did a decent job of removing the salt...
  18. Door removal PSA: check for loose door bolts

Top down, doors off. One of the main reasons for our purchase of the Bronco. Just so much damm fun.
  19. All of the bumps, knocks & thumps when opening a door, the swinggate...

Had mine over a year. Not a problem yet Fit and finish are immaculate. No weird noises, superb tech. In short a perfect vehicle. Exactly what I expected in a 60k plus new vehicle. Sorry🤭. Couldn’t help myself.
