  1. POLL - Where do you stand on finalizing your build

Yup my reservation is MY2022 (or post September 18th). Hopefully that means I order at a later date next year though. To my knowledge, Ford has not clarified that yet.
  2. POLL - Where do you stand on finalizing your build

I need to see Velocity Blue and Rapid Red in person with that MIC top.
  3. YOU CAN DO IT...without MID pkg

They call it “Mid” for a reason. It really ain’t all that. -Aftermarket seat warmers that plug into your 12V ($50-150 Amazon) -Ford Pass Remote Start -Portable Battery with 110V ($250-500 Amazon) -Hitch mounted reverse sensors maybe ($200 Ford) *
  4. Bronco B & P Down

Sorry, I keep building the same damn Basesquatch over and over again.
  5. Demands, Wants, Needs

I’m so glad my expectations for creature comforts are low. For infotainment, all I want is Apple CarPlay with a reasonably sized screen. Ford delivered so good on them. Heated seats can be added later. Leather wrap for my steering wheel can be professionally done later. I don’t need a birds eye...
  6. Complaining to Ford-Lack of Package Options-lower trim levels

I do think a cold weather package would be nice to have across the board. There are people who only can afford the base, but live in cold climates....Ford oughta be aware of this lol, *cough* Dearborn, Michigan. But yea, no chance the Lux or High package should be offered on a Base, BB, or BD.
  7. mpg numbers before December?

Yea there’s some pretty high F150 numbers that owners have posted on YouTube from their 2.7L. One video in particular showed a 10 speed with the 2.7L get 24.8 mpg @ 75-80mph in a relatively flat region of the country. I assume the owner was on stock tires though.
  8. Base Model Bronco Thread

I’m hoping for Lead Foot Gray in the MY2022. Even then, I’m hoping it’s offered on the Base model.
  9. GVWR. What is it and what does it mean?

Yes I think your explanation is more accurate. I used the word fail a little too loosely in my statement. I’ll update my post. My first job required us to know vehicle weight rules pretty well to be TXDOT compliant. They may have tried to scare us a little too much though lol. Oil and gas HSE...
  10. GVWR. What is it and what does it mean?

It is important. It’s the max weight your vehicle can handle before the engineered expectations on performance can significantly worsen. This includes braking, acceleration, handling, etc. I don’t know if it’s enforced on non-commercial vehicles though.
  11. 2 dr on road stability and drivability vs 4 dr

The two door won’t be unstable but it won’t be as smooth or as stable as the 4 door. That’s just how it goes with wheel bases.
  12. Rapid Red - Official Thread

I can't wait to see what the new body looks like with no fenders and pizza cutters. I'll take off the ends of the modular bumper to make it flush. I'm hoping that makes it look kinda retro.
  13. Race Red 4-Door Wildtrak Soft Top [Updated With Hood Decal & Interior Pics]

Well don’t be shy, hot wire that big bitch and bring it on over!
  14. Post your build! Images and specs only

2 Door Basesquatch Rapid Red 2.7L w/10 Spd Modular Front Bumper w/ Brush Guard Aux Switches Paint Protection Sound Deadening Headliner Roofrails Pod Lights (Expensive but screw it) MSRP with Destination Fees = $41,695 Granger $2000 under invoice = $38,700 (Assumed 6% off options and accessories)
  15. Soft top and criminals, security, theft?

If there’s junkies living near you, don’t make yourself a victim by getting a soft top. They’ll choose to break in your ride over a hard top 9 times out of 10.
  16. Might be getting an answer soon about the 2.7 w/ auto for $1,895

Some of you are so ridiculous lol. You think Ford, a Fortune 500 company, is gonna increase pricing based on a question from a random forum member through a tweet? Gimme a break. Get ahold of yourselves, it was just a question.
  17. Do I need really the Sasquatch???

I say don’t squatch it if you don’t plan on off-roading it. But like you said, it’s a nice package for the money. You can always downsize to 33s when the 35s wear out as well. I may do this myself. Alternatively you can always pass on the squatch and mod it yourself over time to get that look...
  18. Black Diamond Bronco Thread

Lolol, I honestly had no idea I was responding to you or else my post would’ve been a little different haha. But yea I get the concern. I’ve driven on muds and ATs but these lean AT HARD. They have siping for water and snow. The knobs are small like ATs too. I think it’ll be a good...
  19. Black Diamond Bronco Thread

I guess I’ll do my part as a forum member that spends too much time on here....that tire is not a traditional mud tire. Per Goodyear, it is a hybrid between AT and MT. To me personally, it looks like it’ll drive more like an AT. Do not worry about it.
  20. Hesitant to Order Before Test Drive?

I have liked the way every Ford I’ve ever driven in drives so I have little doubt that I’ll be disappointed (Mustang, Ranger, Escape, F-150, F-250, and F-350). The F-150 particularly is a great driving experience. Driving experience is up to the individual though so I get your concern.
