Putting the modules in on the assembly line is probably lot easier. They keep the line workers productive and have a small number of folks out on ice mountain doing the retrofits. It Sucks. Good luck - hope you get yours asap.

I was on Toyota.com looking at 4 Runners - the disappointment, the shame. Given the current turmoil, I feel like I'll never get my 7/22 reservation fulfilled. I eliminated TOW but that's as much as I'll concede.

Great write-up. Sounds like quite an adventure! That coolant hose clamp is a known issue. I believe there is a predelivery checklist thread on here that has it on it. For all of us still waiting, be sure your dealer inspects that clamp.
