  1. Bronco Rollovers - Sports Bar or Roll Cage

He's saying, there are some off roading situations where if you DONT have full control over the vehicle (hit gas the right amount, at right time) you can easily lead to a rollover situation (as opposed to say, just getting stuck) for example, maybe with the wrong amount of throttle, the vehicle...
  2. Adding a Rear Locker to the Bronco Base

Yes but you also need to consider if you're going to do new wheels and tires on base, or if you'd keep the ones that come with big bend. That will put you much closer to the cost difference with a factory locker and higher trim model. Not saying not to go base, just saying make sure you think if...
  3. Adding a Rear Locker to the Bronco Base

also keep in mind the base rims are very skinny and your tire choices will be limited (16x7 rims)
  4. Adding a Rear Locker to the Bronco Base

Here's my comparison with all granger prices (estimated the aftermarket locker costs $2000 all said and done) - again this chart is for me, because i want premium interior (black diamond has this) and heaters (cheaper with heat-only on stock seats, more expensive with katzkin degreez) for me...
  5. Adding a Rear Locker to the Bronco Base

I didn't realize the diff was $500 on the big bend. I know it's not comparable if you take the granger deal on the base. I was saying in comparison to what he was going to pay currently at his local dealer. The invoice -$1000 pricing is still less attractive on the base due to invoice only being...
  6. Adding a Rear Locker to the Bronco Base

Yeah I think they’ll honor your plan too I’m not sure. Either way, price out both builds using the invoice price guide, take off $1k, then add your aftermarket changes, then compare the cost. flights to Des Moines are cheap and it’s only a days drive for you I think.
  7. Adding a Rear Locker to the Bronco Base

They are very on top of it. I just switched recently. I think if you want a rear locker, nothing will beat the factory one. Give them a call they're a nice folks and called me back very quickly once i switched my reservation. I think you also get invoice pricing on all the options too...
  8. Adding a Rear Locker to the Bronco Base

In s Im saying your bronco is $30k now at your dealer. a big bend from granger (with factory rear locker and bigger tires) is $31.5 - so by the time you add tires and a locker your original base was more expensive than if you just flew to granger and drove back a big bend the deal works...
  9. Adding a Rear Locker to the Bronco Base

Get granger fords deal for $1000 off invoice on a big bend or black diamond and break even. Plus a nice road trip vacation to hit some trails on the way back. I’m doing the same with a black diamond I think... comes out almost the same for me (as doing non-granger base) since I was also going...

  11. Ford confirms a green 2022 Bronco color for MY22! *Not Filson Wildland Fire Rig Green*

This has Steve “BCE” McQueen energy all over it. Big Cactus Energy
  12. B6G BRONCO Grille Badge

    This is MY22 only right?
  13. Cactus Gray Black Diamond 2 Door Quick Video

Maybe some thing “washable” to go with the “washable” interior? ;)
  14. Badlands Bronco Thread

Good choice. Bimini always beats a soft top for me, so I prefer to keep the hardtop for winter and roof rack (especially since the roof panels pop out so easy!)
  15. Badlands Bronco Thread

does anyone happen to know who makes the optional badlands wheels? Are they custom for the bronco?
  16. Child seat installed in a 2021 Bronco 2-Door (photos)

front facing isn’t really the problem. Rear facing baby seats are the hard part with a 2 door. luckily in an SUV you don’t have to bend down. I think having the kind that you just click the whole seat into a permanent “base” will make it manageable. Once the kids can climb and strap in a 2 door...
  17. Fastback Top Broncos in Area 51 and Lightning Blue

Yes I really hope this doesn’t become standard on the 2 door:( I need my roof rack pronto.
  18. If Ford offers the fastback soft top in place of the 2DR MIC, will you take it or wait?

In my experience, most veteran jeep runners who prefer top-down run a real bimini top and cover the vehicle for dew/rain - soft tops are notoriously a pain in the ass, get saggy, flap around in the wind, lots of zipping and unzipping, and they generally look crappy after a couple seasons in the...
