  1. Installing Eibach 2.0 truck coil overs, do I need to cut rest of crash bar mount?

For the Eibach 2.0s and 0 offset wheels, you are probably good on the front crash bar mount. I imagine you'd be more likely to rub the backside of the front wheel well. I am running the same coilovers with 37" Yokohama Geolandar MT G003s on stock wheels with 0.75" wheel spacers (comes out to be...
  2. HOSS 3.0 vs HOSS 1.0 vs BroncBuster - driver side steering bushing comparison & discussion

This is good stuff @Snacktime. Exactly what I was hoping to learn in the BB bushing thread I posted the other day. This definitely settles the necessity to install the bushing for my use case on a 1.0 rack. Half a dozen off road trips a year doesn't warrant the 3.0 rack for me yet.
  3. JCR Bull Bar Bolt-on Hoop installed on 2022 Black Diamond

Looks great! Exact setup (bull bar and winch mount) that I will likely go with.
  4. Broncbuster Bushing Feedback

So the company selling what is probably a $4-5k rack (plus cost of HOSS 3.0 rack?) is saying not to buy the competitor's bushing? I'm shocked. I will say that I see a potential flaw in the claim the two ends aren't concentric. They first point out that the tensioner bearing inner diameter...
  5. Broncbuster Bushing Feedback

Yikes! Any plans to pull the tie rod boot to look for signs of water ingress?
  6. Broncbuster Bushing Feedback

First of all, I would appreciate if we could keep this thread from devolving into an argument on who would spend so much on a '$5 piece of plastic' and keep it focused on getting feedback from those who are running the Broncbuster Bushing. I get it, it's not cheap. I managed to snag one on...
  7. Hello from NC!

I will be down there early April, but will probably make a weekday trip to avoid the early season crowd. Just did the overland experts off road training down there across from the el dorado outpost back in February. It was a blast and good to get accustomed to the bronco. Learned a lot. It's...
  8. Are Tie Rods really THAT big of an issue for Broncos?

Yeah, I agree. I managed to get one at a discount and am weighing whether to install it or not when I install my icon tie rods. Not sure what the downside might be. I don't like the idea of the tie rods being a 'fuse'. We have already seen one example the other day where a broken tie rod led...
  9. Are Tie Rods really THAT big of an issue for Broncos?

Your rack broke at the tensioner, right? Do you think the broncbuster bushing would have prevented this failure?
  10. Sliders that look more like nerf bars?

Yeah, just not a fan of how far down they sit. I prefer the RCI sliders over metal-tech due to their ability to hide the pinch seam better and the price point.
  11. Sliders that look more like nerf bars?

I really wish they would update the design to not require drilling of the frame.
  12. Does the beauty ring have to be removed to remove the tire?

Discount tire removed mine when changing the tires. The duck head they use on their tire changer wouldn't clear the extra height of the ring. No harm no foul... They did a good job removing and installing them.
  13. How is your Rough Country tailgate reinforcement plate holding up?

Tried to install one, holes didn't line up and powder coat was missing from almost all of the holes. Bought hammer built and haven't looked back. I'd suggest steering away from RC.
  14. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Did you replace all 4 or just the lowers?
  15. Eibach Coilovers NOW AVAILABLE!

Yeah, I suggest to drill holes on the corners, about 1/2" forward and 1/2" aft of the trim out to establish the corner radii and then cut the metal in between with a Dremel metal cutting disk and follow up with a grinder bit to smooth it out. I'm already at 1/2" larger cut out (1/4" forward and...
  16. Post your Bronco's garage mates!

Explorer ST... Wife inherited it when the Bronco arrived.
  17. ICON XD Forged Tie Rods

Probably need to move the conversation to another thread. I'll post one up in a bit to get feedback from those that have installed it.
  18. ICON XD Forged Tie Rods

Any of you installing these also have the broncbuster bushing? Any difference in ride with the bushing installed? My icon tierods just got here today and I have the bushing sitting in the garage. Trying to figure out if I should install it or not. Setup is Eibach coilovers with 2" of lift...
  19. 37" Tires Question... tailgate / spare?

As others have said, get the reinforcement. That's all I went with as the sasquatch brake light is already tall enough for my 37s. Well, that is after 'stretching' it over the back edge of the tire. With the stock wheels, I still get good contact on the little rubber pieces that sit below spare...
  20. North Carolina Zone 2" Lift Kit for Badlands/Sasquatch

If you want to install the full kit, yes. However, if you just do the top hat spacers (like I was planning), then you would just need to remove the strut, cut down the studs, and install the spacers. That should get you about 1 3/8" lift in the front and 1" in the rear.
