I bought my speakers from crutchfield too and added the free adapters to the cart but then they called me the next day and said the adapters were out of stock. I didn’t want to wait so I just spliced without a second thought.

Yes, I understand. No wonder why my sub doesn’t sound great. I’ve riding for a few weeks with them crossed. I thought it was the opposite of what you said. Guess I will take it out and switch them tomorrow.
