  1. MotorTrend talks about Bronco/Bronco Sport Naming Confusion

They should have just called it the "Bronco II" like back in the 80's. Sport sounds more like a trim level, than a different model.
  2. Thank God Ford bit off more than they could chew

The supply problem is huge, and no one seems to have any true forecast on anything to be able to accurately predict production of anything. I work in the construction supply business and right now we tell our customers, it may be next week it may be 6 months from now. Right now our suppliers...
  3. My Bronco / Not a Bronco

From the side, the Sport looks like the old explorer of the late 90's early 2000's
  4. Flying debris when going top off?

I've never had anyone throw stuff IN my Jeep, but I have been behind or next to (and slightly behind) people as they threw stuff out, but getting it to land IN the Jeep/Bronco would take intent or some amazing bad luck. Most throw it direct and down, so unless they throw it back and up, or you...
  5. Official MPG figures: 2021 Bronco 2.3L and 2.7L fuel economy

Me as well.. 2018 4dr Sahara with 3.6L on 33" KO2s I average 17.5 mostly driving 50-60mph Get on the interstate down here doing 75-80 it drops to 15
  6. Antenna is Removable!

I know of you were wondering, but I found out and confirmed, that you can change the radio station as well.
  7. Ford should of not made so many bronco models

I think models should only be standard features differences, with each level getting 1 more standard feature, then pile on the options.
  8. Hard top - rear electronics

wouldn't the real issue with "add it later" idea be the wiper control on the steering column, and it's ability to control the rear wiper if one was not included in the original options?
  9. Hard top - rear electronics

no snow, but the back window gets filthy. Even without dirt/snow/rain, there's not much viewing space around the mounted tire.
  10. Hard top - rear electronics

As a Jeep owner I can tell you the wiper and defroster aren't worth much. In fact, I didn't even plug them back in the last time I put the top back on, and haven't missed them. With the tire mounted on the back, there is very little rear window that is useful anyway. I count the dirt on the...
  11. Locking fuel door

Just make sure you have a funnel for a capless fuel filler, in case you need to use a gas can. They are a pain to pour gas into from a standard nozzle. Add in these new, "spill proof" gas cans, and I am happy I have never run out of gas on the road. My experience is from the safety of my home...
  12. That many people really hate the soft tops?

Rear wiper and defrost are really over-rated. As a jeep owner I can tell you the rear window is about useless as a viewport with the tire mounted back there.
  13. Grab bar is flimsy

    That's not a grab handle, that is a passenger/driver COVID divider. :)
  14. OBX vs BL conflicted

I'll be going OBX most likely, I'd prefer non-painted flares, but figure those can be changed later. I want the Lux Package because 99% of my driving will be back and forth to work and weekend errands. I would prefer MGV interior, but the Roast w/Black Onyx leather is nice as well. Maybe this...
  15. 3 “gimmicky” things Edmunds doesn’t like about the Bronco

The writer has never surfed YouTube and the millions of hours of GoPro and DashCam videos available. Not to mention that there's people making decent cash just posting what we would all claim as boring videos that enough people clicked to watch. Just like that writer probably got enough ad...
  16. What will you power with AUX Switches ?

Passenger: What are those? Me: Those are Aux Switches. Passenger: What do they do? Me: They Aux  Passenger: Why do you have them? Me: Because they look cool , and are totally awesome.
  17. Anything I need to check out in the Bronco?

Did you at least get her name when you measured her nipple height?
  18. So who thinks 2 door Bronco sales will be a bigger percentage than 2 door Wrangler sales?

Yeah, saw that as well, which is the other thing that may keep me in a 4dr
  19. So who thinks 2 door Bronco sales will be a bigger percentage than 2 door Wrangler sales?

I've been on the fence. I have a 4dr Wrangler, which I got for the extra cargo space. But have since quit the band and stopped gigging, so I don't need to haul around a full drumset and other euipment. Since then I have noticed I seldom put the rear seats down to haul things, I think maybe 1...
  20. Driving without doors - rules / laws / common sense things to consider?

Wait for a nice warm sunny day and hose it out, then let it sit and dry. I had the top off during a Florida downpour. Pulled the plugs when it stopped, and let it sit in the sun, a couple hours later it was dry. Although pollen ay take some scrubbing as well.
