  1. Does the dealer know their allocations?

I'd suggest you take a look at this as a best-case, worst-case scenario. If you don't have a VIN yet: Best case: - No scheduling this week. - Optimistic: scheduling next week. - VERY optimistic: you get scheduled during the next available round. - That puts your production date probably in...
  2. Ford shipped my Bronco to Canada

I think this is definitely an illustration of why Ford may not want to be forthcoming with all of the gory details that our rabid excited buyer fanbase would want to see about how the sausage is made. There is such a thing as knowing too much, and having too much information. It sucks for you...
  3. Dealer and/or Ford lost my order but got one in with ADM

For extra reference, CarMax has been listing used models with <3k miles consistently for $15-20k over MSRP... and they're usually selling within 3 or 4 days of being listed. Carvana is in the +$20-22k range.
  4. Dealer and/or Ford lost my order but got one in with ADM

I would have 100% taken +$3k ADM for an immediate drive-home-today vehicle if it was that close to mine - unless your reservation was pre-2021 and your build was primed to be scheduled in the next few weeks. Since it's not, that would have been $3k to jump literally tens of thousands of orders...
  5. ⏱ Limited Bronco Scheduling Next Week (5/30) For Build Weeks 6/27, 7/18, 7/25

I can't believe this thread is so short... I was one of the lucky few that discovered I got scheduled yesterday using the backdoor link. Reservation #: 103xxxx Reservation date: 8/7/2020 Week of 6/27 for me. 2-door, 2.7L, non-sasquatch, +tow.
  6. Kayak transporting?

Definitely should be able to. Did you get the tow package? If so, the best way to do this with the most stability is to use a goalpost-style rear carrier. It slides into your tow hitch, and can adjust vertically. Something like this...
  7. Husband wants me to sell my Bronco.😒

"Yup, I imagine this Bronco will be pretty handy at hauling your corpse far enough out that nobody's ever going to find it..."
  8. Broncos showing up for sale

I don't know, nowadays I still see NPAPs, ZPAPs, and the occasional OPAP hitting out-of-stock quickly at $899-999, when no less than a decade ago the same gun was overstocked at $400 each.
  9. Price Gouging @ Westway Ford Irving Texas

If only I'd have the stones to say: "I would spend $10,000 buying the nearest billboard for 3 months to say 'WESTWAY FORD IS HOLDING MY CUSTOM-BUILT VEHICLE HOSTAGE' just to f*** you hard than pay you your $20k ransom."
  10. Maybe I’ll get one of these instead…

That's either a Toyota LiteAce or a MasterAce! Very cool retro/futurism on the overlanding front. If you're into these but find they're impossible to, uh, find, then have a search for a Mitsubishi Delica too. The Star vans are great overlanders too. Selectable 4WD, highly customizable interior...
  11. Price Gouging @ Westway Ford Irving Texas

Haha ummm when I want to navigate to read this thread's updates, I don't just click on my notifications. I google it first and scroll til I see the thread link, then click it from there to get in. It gives major SEO points that way. :D
  12. Price Gouging @ Westway Ford Irving Texas

Did you say "well charge me MSRP and I'll sign a contract stating I won't resell for 6/9/12/hotdog months after purchase, if that's your only concern." That deflates their whole nonsensical position in the argument, and as long as you're not actually planning to flip it that first year will zip...
  13. Price Gouging @ Westway Ford Irving Texas

If the dealership thinks that's a viable tactic, should we send you proof of all the D/FW buyers who have bought their vehicles for MSRP +/-? I bet in volume it's leagues ahead of people who are buying for nearly 2x MSRP. Selling an abandoned reservation is completely different than modifying...
  14. Price Gouging @ Westway Ford Irving Texas

"You can't do that! Only the DEALER can sell a vehicle for an outrageous profit!" /sarcasmfont This scummy dealership isn't 'under duress', he is actually just under consequences. The fact that he's taken aback by groundswell response is confirmation that he never once imagined what he was...
  15. Price Gouging @ Westway Ford Irving Texas

Yup... they scrubbed mine from last night. Of course it shows up when I'm looking at it, but in an incognito window it's gone (sorted by newest, and looking at the gap between the previous review and the next one).
  16. In an alternate universe, the bronco was never discontinued and had a V8 lol

It looks like the equivalent of one of those sci fi movies where they show a female alien and it's kind of grotesquely humanoid looking, but you still immediately recognize that it's hot. Fix the grill and I'd drive that right off the lot ASAP!
  17. Price Gouging @ Westway Ford Irving Texas

By gods I am going to bury their poor IG social media marketing person with nuclear comments.
  18. Price Gouging @ Westway Ford Irving Texas

The wheel locks are $90 in the B&O. The tint is done at literally every trim level above base. I have no clue what a Zag Tech is, but you sure didn't ask for it to be on your vehicle. They can remove it to turn that $4,000 into $90 for your wheel locks. While the other $20,500 melts away with...
  19. Price Gouging @ Westway Ford Irving Texas

We've seen tons of these, and by pitchforks & spears of the forum they have pretty much all submitted. Name this dealer quickly, and see MSRP return.
  20. My Wife is too Much

Her google search for "TRENDY VISOR" should have resulted in 0 returns, regardless of any words that followed. Anything else is dishonest and/or an ad!
