Damnit. ARB, Metalcloak, factory.... so many choices, oh my.... Haven't had a chance to actually play with the factory plates, but they seem maybe a touch on the flimsy side... again just my impression from looking at them, not banging on them or taking them off. I like the look of the ARB set...
@TyGuy40 I also usually use AtELCo with my business accounts. How much better was what Maxwell secured? Still waiting on my vehicle through them. July 14 reservation. Bit frustrated but not changing my order from a hard top. Waited this long.....
You can add a rack to a 21'. The mounting points haven't changed. They don't have the ford ones as an actual packaged accessories yet, but you can have a dealer order each part for a hefty price..... A few have done this. You just weren't able to add them on many 21's and still can't add them on...
Yes sir. I figured we would be able to do it again. I tried to register for another go and it was a no go, unless I place another order...... I figured at some point they would just open it up.
I was out the first week open to the public, pretty much all trims represented, most with SAS, there were a few base badlands running 33s. One manual in each group. The 33s did struggle a bit more on the slippery rocks and did tend to hit the bash plates and rear shock mounts a lot. Nothing with...
494 days and counting. Long story about the FE reservation I initially thought I secured. 23 TRD pro is looking good or maybe a Rover and I will dump 10-15 into my 95 EB and just be done.
I will admit there is a lot of whining and boasting on all ends... That is the essence of social media... it is a narcissistic driven media full of schadenfreude. I would suggest people walk a mile....
Just for clarity for those that are new and have no idea what this saga has been like here is...
Yeah, sh$tshow... I like to think that some of these are a result of small dealers that didn't get any vehicles in 2021. That, maybe Ford maybe gave zone reps some special priority builds. It is clearly not completely random..... it is skewed so heavy towards soft tops.
The shit show continues.... I spoke with a handful of dealers and so few of the previewing vehicles are hard tops. It really sucks that Ford can't get get vehicles built for people that reserved day 1, 2, .... But you know hang in there... totally worth the wait.......
I like that is already wired for fog lights and there is a fog light button on the light cluster. I like that it is 'free' on some trims... But way prefer the mod and a small handful of less is more aftermarket front bumpers.
Honestly, have your dealer change you to an MIC top ASAP. The MOD top makes your build unbuildable. As a day 1 reservation holder you should get a build date right away or next go around that your build can be previewed. Review your dora and make sure everything is OK and you do not have a 99...
Simple answer is yes. Originally and what everyone thought they were signing up for when reserving broncos was that the reservation time stamp would take priority. The system was launched in the air and shot up with a 12 gauge and now it only slightly resembles what we all thought we signed up...
They've been previewing the past two weeks. I suspect a fair number of build date emails going out and quite possibly followed by build date changes from the last go around.
Are you with the same dealer? Yeah, I've seen a few of these, but this guy is pretty much gloating about his build date. I am hoping it is a mistake and ford will be fixing it in the next few weeks or at the very least it is a build date that gets dragged out and changed for 12 months or...
