Have had 4 manuals: '79 Capri Gia, '81 Jeep CJ-5, '86 Cavalier Z-24, '89 Mazda RX-7 3 autos: '93 Explorer, '98 BMW 325i , '10 Escape XLT Going to the 2.7L on the Bronco so locked into the auto, otherwise would be very happy and comfortable with a manual. GF wouldn't like it though.... LOL

Going for the Standard BL, with the 2.7L and tow package. Daily Driver, more than capable off roader as witnessed here last couple of days from KOH.

Same sequencing: 1st A51, then Cactus Grey, GF liked both but preferred the Shadow Black the best. Back in 2010 I was trying to get a Black Escape XLT w/4wd and the 6 cylinder, but could only find a Grey one. What would really be trick if they would offer a full tan MGV. Black and Tan to...

I went for very close to this with Mid package, Standard Wheels and passed on the keyless entry. I may add the later before build but have had it on my Escape for 10 years and used it once... of course that could pay for it if I used it twice! LOL

Order: 4-dr Badlands, 2.7L, Shadow Black, MIC Hard top, Mid/tow pkgs...placed and added to the list... now...the waiting is the hardest part!

Great report and envious of your encounter. MI born and raised but away from the homeland +30 years. Confirming that my order for a 4-dr, 2.7L Badlands Mid/Tow is the right play. So the soft top was reasonably quiet? Thinking about going that route and waiting to order a HT later.

New to the thread here. Had a CJ-5 back in the mid-80’s back in MI 4 door, 2.7L, MGV seats / washout interior, mid/tow package are “needs”... lol...so... Was hard set on a Black Diamond SAS but decided on a non-SAS Badlands.... Shadow Black... Ordered with the MIC HT... but may just go soft...

Going for the 4-Dr. Badlands with the stock 33's. Shadow Black, 2.7, mid and tow packages... Communicated to my dealer earlier today. Changed my profile details to align with the down selection.

Scored nicely... I am a lucky man, GF is tops!
