Excited for you. My rig should be at Granger in the next few weeks.
How was the drive back? Did you just drive all the way home or did you stop? What route did you take?
Any hints to getting to Des Moines?
Also, is there any thing I need to know to get through the process with Granger?
I...
1st you need your rail car number. The best source is your dealership.
2nd read the tracking thread. It is at the top of the forum page. " Trackers"
here is a link - https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/here-are-the-bronco-build-tracking-links.22795/
I believe that the Granger Bronco is in Gibson Rail yard just outside of Chicago. At the end of the message, it says IHB1. IHB is the Gibson Rail yard. The car will continue down I80 to Des Moines. How long that takes is anyones guess.
This is going to Texas. It is not here. I am still trying to understand the rail car data from the automated systems.
My other order is headed to Granger Iowa. It was built two days later but it appears it will beat the Texas order to the dealer. That's good. It is for the wife. She always...
I plan on selling on the market. I dont know how it works in Colorado but in Texas, you get 6.25% of the trade value in tax savings. So a 30k trade would get you 1,875 removed from the taxes. I can get more on the market than saving the 1875.
Keep in mind this is not just a private sale to an...
My guess is that your build requires a trip to the finish shop. Off the top of my head, those items could be Paint protection film, pin stripes, vinyl decals, or other extras.
i received my rail info from the finance team but Samantha should have access to the same info.
thanks for the details. That 9” wide rtr wheel makes the tire look thicker. I think that’s the setup I’m going with. I like the everglades wheel but the rtr is it.
thanks again
This is a great question. I have reviewed the 180+ page "show us your wheels" thread. I would like to see what a slightly bigger tire on a +30 offset wheel looks like with non SAS flairs.
I personally believe the stock wheels are sucked in too much but I dont want sas flairs with a zero...
I’m flying up to get mine. I love road trips and what better way to celebrate the long wait than to cruise home.
If you check out the 4/11 build week thread, someone mentions shipping company. You might check that out as an option.
I got the same built email for my 4/11 build on 4/13. I got the shipped email the next day. 5 weeks to get to Texas is shocking but I’ve waited this long.
I wouldn’t read too much into the notifications.
my 4/13 didn’t have a tear tag till late friday. I got the built email today. I’ll be...
I finally have a build date for my Bronco. It is to replace my current toad. (Ford Edge)
In preparation, I am working through what I need to setup the rig to flat tow as soon as possible.
I have read the "flat towing equipment needed" thread several times and it was very helpful.
I search for...
Added my build info in the spreadsheet. Both of my orders are schedule for the week of 4/10. In the track link, one is 4/13 and one is 4/14.
I expect the build dates to move. I've waited this long, my original res was 9/9/20. The other order is a Grangtober res. 10/1
