  1. [Updated 7/20] Early Delivered Bronco MIC Top Developing Honeycomb / Snakeskin Pattern

It’s already been pointed out that that is the pocket for the roof rack. You are just looking at half of it.
  2. [Updated 7/20] Early Delivered Bronco MIC Top Developing Honeycomb / Snakeskin Pattern

I’d switch to a soft top in a heartbeat if I could order a quality aftermarket top. If an MIC top is going to cost around 3k with another $500 in freight from the parts counter, I wouldn’t hesitate paying 6k for an after market hard top that doesn’t suck
  3. [Updated 7/20] Early Delivered Bronco MIC Top Developing Honeycomb / Snakeskin Pattern

from the manual: I don’t know about you, but reads to me as wax the painted body and use only soap and water on plastics.
  4. [Updated 7/20] Early Delivered Bronco MIC Top Developing Honeycomb / Snakeskin Pattern

That’s not going to happen. A WT with a soft top doesn’t have all the equipment called for by the VIN. They can’t ship a vehicle for sale that’s incomplete. They are going to have to ship dealers hard tops for soft top mannequin WT’s before they can be sold.
  5. [Updated 7/20] Early Delivered Bronco MIC Top Developing Honeycomb / Snakeskin Pattern

Wow. Some company could really make a killing by coming out with a decent hard top roof. Make it one piece for all I care. Just make it not suck
  6. Outerbanks Lux

I always thought I would like the roast, but those pictures don’t do it for me. Looks like a burnt orange. Glad I went with the navy pier
  7. Outerbanks 2.3L Non-Sas Build

Ford said they will be producing 60% hard tops and 40% soft tops. I didn’t realize at the time that they meant that it will be 99% soft tops and 1% hard tops for the first several months.. sheesh ready to start seeing more MIC deliveries
  8. What year will I receive my Bronco??

And the MIC top, and the tow package, and I forgot to mention the 2.7
  9. Poll: Black and White MIC tops

A white plastic top does not sound very appealing
  10. Houston Area member Roll Call!

I'm Casey, I live in Memorial City and work in Katy. This will be my first Bronco, but not my first Ford. I promised myself after the 2004 Bronco prototype, that if Ford ever reintroduced it I would do whatever it took to get one. I was just a kid then, but I couldn't be more excited about...
  11. What year will I receive my Bronco??

The bronco sport and Bronco are different vehicles. I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure you could not have switched a bronco sport order to a bronco. I’m a day 2 reservation with a 4 door outer banks, sas, lux, MIC and tow. I’ll be happy if I get mine this time next year. Less room for...
  12. Is my day 1 reservation still being honoured after code 10/99/10 submission

I'm pretty confident the reservation time still holds water barring commodity constraints. I have been under the impression that some of the delay in scheduling builds is to allow those of us that 99'd originally to switch to a buildable vehicle and be considered for August scheduling...
  13. ICONIC SILVER Bronco Club

This is my exact build minus the top. What was your reservation date? Did you have 2.7, Lux and tow package? I'm a 7/14 res, wondering how much the soft top would improve my timing
  14. Any build emails this week? For Thursday July 8

what’s your build? I’m day 2, but with 2.7, sas, lux and Mic I’m just hoping for this time next year
  15. Order Code 99'd Myself

I think he just means he had the dealer change him to priority code 99
  16. Houston area order status

I think the lot is only viewable from the toll road. If it’s empty now that’s just a testament to how insane inventory is right now. That place used to have cars stacked bumper to bumper for as far as the eye can see.
  17. Houston area order status

I haven’t been by it recently, but most new vehicles come through the rail yard at the Hardy toll road and 1960. I had an f150 that came through there and waited a few days for it to get picked up and delivered. Might try to drive out there sometime this week
  18. Death to the Bronco Sport

The B6G crowd wants a Bronco. The frustration with the Bronco Sport is that its called a Bronco Sport. It's a different kind of vehicle that deserves a different name. You would see the same frustration if Jeep called the Renegade a Wrangler Sport. But they didn't, because it's not a Wrangler.
  19. Paint color as a constraint?

Haven't heard of a specific color being a constraint, but does anybody know how color choice affects scheduling? Do they run only certain colors each day? I'm no paint expert but I can't imagine they are set up to paint all 11 colors every day. It wouldn't really make much sense to have a booth...
