I'm confused. The title says that this is for the seats without the Molle panels, but the pictures and description on the Amazon post say that it's WITH the Molle panels.
I have a Big Bend with cloth seats. If I order these, will it fit my vehicle without the molle panels?
I was actually wondering how the SLX5000 would do. That's what I had for my Focus RS, and it was a godsend when it came to changing the clutch, doing detailing, or even seasonal tire swaps. I know that if my Bronco is under the 5000lbs somehow, it'll be really close, and I don't know if it's...
Yup. There are ways you can mitigate the noise. You can get the engine cover from a Ranger and it will be a direct fit. You can also get the underhood insulation from Mabett or someone similar. My RS with the same engine was noticeable, even with an insulated engine cover, a padded silencer over...
MWAHAHAHAHAAHHA!!! An end to the madness, finally!!! She's sitting pretty in my garage, awaiting tomorrow's wrenchfest, to finally shrink the pile of aftermarket parts awaiting her arrival.
Funny story (at least to me); My kiddos had a half-day today at school, so like any good dad, I blew off...
Ughhh... she's a beauty! Stopped by my dealership this afternoon, as soon as I got back in town from Kentucky (I'm building the 23 Super Duty pre-production trucks until the end of the month). She's not there today, and unlikely to arrive tomorrow. I leave Sunday, back to Louisville until...
I'm getting anxious... I had a blend on 9/28 and was built on 10/03. I'm stuck in "Awaiting shipment" now, in spite of being within 20 miles of the plant (Southgate Ford).
So, help me ease or (or maybe trigger) my anxiety; how long did it take you to go from built to getting to your dealer?
I'm hoping that's the case with mine. Blend was 9/28, built 10/3. Got the "built" email this morning with Est Delivery 10/3-10/10. I'm really hoping to pick it up tomorrow or Friday, which means that's not gonna happen.
I'm pretty sure you don't get any further info for convoy. It's too hard to track some of the smaller "hot shot" type guys with F350s hauling 4-5 cars.
For convoy shipping, it's literally a matter of "do I have enough vehicles to fill my trailer"? If you're a high-volume dealer, you might get multiple shipments per day. If you're low volume, it might take a week or two for them to fill a trailer and head off to your dealer.
Not quite random...
Thank you for your service, Seabee! My uncle served in the Seabees in Vietnam at Quan Tri. I guess they had a hell of a time when the Tet offensive hit. Not enough people realize how important you guys were/ are, and yall don't get nearly enough credit. I hope you get to enjoy the heck out of...
Same, but mine is 32 vehicles away from the start of the final assembly testing process. I'm rotation 9732 and they went on break at 9700. The line should be firing back up any second now, so I'm probably about an hour away from as-built data populating.
On a related side note, when I just went...
Last unit I looked at was rotation number 7344, and was 314/1061 with a blend date of 9/26. It looks like MAP is running right around 40 units per hour. It looks like they're about 2 days between blend and first hitting the end-of-line process, which makes sense. My plant runs WAY faster and it...
That seems reasonable. My dealer is very local to MAP (about a 25 minute drive), so once my truck is actually built, it should only be 1-2 days before the dealer gets it. I've looked at the past few units that were built and a couple of them were delivered to the dealer within 24 hours of being...
It's that "Christmas morning" anticipation, I think. My work days feel long enough as it is, and now I'm sitting here hitting the refresh button on a web browser like a madman.
I'm watching production at MAP like a hawk right now. The units that are coming out of the last QA check (just before they go to the shipping lot) are primarily 9/23 blend dates right now. They're around the 6400 rotation number as of lunch break today.
Bear in mind, that's probably going to...
The direct injection fuel system is just overall louder than what most people are used to. The injectors are fighting to hold back a rail pressure that can be between 2000 and 4000psi in some cases. Not to mention, the high pressure pump is driven off the camshaft with a mechanical lobe and...
I really want to like the vertical mounting options, but I'm 100% against mounting one of the vehicle's modules to the same bracket as a shaky compressor. If there's one thing that sensitive electronics hate, it's vibration. Well, that and heat. And moisture.
Two out of three of those things...
This is a step in the right direction, but yeah... a little off. I like the flared look, as opposed to the flare delete. I also like a somewhat more square look (not Chevy pickup square, but maybe closer to the Everglades flares).
We'll see what further aftermarket support brings.
