  1. ICYMI: Good look at 2 Door Bronco trunk size / cargo space

That looks like my ARB 37 qt. How can you tell the difference?
  2. 7 speed manual ONLY with the 2.3?!

Best of both worlds: be cheap and an enthusiast.
  3. Maryland Volume Buyers Group? or Maybe VA/PA/DE/MD?

I'm reserved with Granger and have no problem staying with Granger - I like road trips and am kind of stoked to plan out a camping/road trip with my new Ford. But if someone in the Midatlantic will match their deal or come very very close, I'll consider switching. Currently have X plan so $1,300...
  4. So do any other trucks or SUVs have "washout" interiors?

Honda Element is very nearly a washout interior. They backed away from the claim at the last minute if memory serves me, but it has rubber floors & vinyl upholstery and was billed to be easy cleanup. Also not "wash out" per se, but a lot of Ford work trucks/ fleet trucks come with vinyl floors.
  5. Ford, if you're really listening make the marine package available in every trim

And make a dove gray or beige seat option for the marine grade vinyl. Not loving the thought of black vinyl seats after parking in the sun on a summer day.
  6. Ford Stock Is Up Big Today

Up 11% in 8 days. Now let's hope the actual manufacturing & delivery logistics goes smoothly in spite of Covid-19, and that sales aren't too badly impacted, for the sake of continued share price growth. Now to be clear, I care a lot more about the vehicle turning out to meet all my wants...
  7. Spare Delete / Backup Camera

Buying a Bronco Sport is the easiest way to address this. ;)
  8. 7 speed manual ONLY with the 2.3?!

I'm in the same boat. 7MT 2.7L would be amazing, but given the choice between a manual and a V6? Manual every time.
  9. 7 speed manual ONLY with the 2.3?!

I've never bought a new car that wasn't a manual. Used cars, I've had a few slush boxes but only to get me by long enough to get a car I actually want. The Bronco will be no different. I don't intend to change this pattern until I'm driving an electric car, in which case you could say it's a...
  10. So only 15.8 MPG?

Hey, I could do 6 MPG on the dunes or crawling in my old Disco, and maybe 11-12 on long stretches of interstate if I kept it below 65. I think I hit 13 once and celebrated with an extra shot of octane booster. Average MPG in-town and short drives was around 10, long term (2-year) average was I...
  11. What are your "sacrifices" when thinking about your future toy?

    1) Sacrificing the 2.7L and Sasquatch because you can't get either with a manual transmission. 2) I'll either be sacrificing the front locker and disconnecting sway bar if I stick with my original plan of Black Diamond, or sacrificing a few thousand dollars more to get the Badlands (one of the...
  12. Invoice Pricing- False Advertisement? Granger & Georgia

This whole conspiracy is cracking me up. When I reserved my Bronco through Ford, selecting Granger as the dealer, I received an automated message, then a few minutes later a message from Albert saying he was the head of internet sales and would be posting regular updates to the Bronco6G forum...
  13. Invoice Pricing- False Advertisement? Granger & Georgia

@Granger Ford even dealerships in Georgia are mad at you :ROFLMAO:
  14. What does your wife think of the new Bronco?

This reminds me of another rule of thumb I used - if you plan on wearing a beard at any point in life, you need to wear a beard while dating so you know your S.O. approves!
  15. What does your wife think of the new Bronco?

Might want to swap #2 & #3 so you don't end up with the wrong girlfriend / wife :ROFLMAO:
  16. Waterproofing Leather

A beige or dove gray or off-white vinyl would be amazing. I'm not a fan of dark interiors (they get too hot), especially for vehicles that will spend a lot of time in the sun. But if that's the only way to get the wash-out interior, I'd probably live with it.
  17. Waterproofing Leather

Don't put these things on upholstery. Boots, yes, upholstery, no. They have a sticky "hand" that will catch lint and grime and will also allow the leather to stretch and get softer - if they penetrate the finish at all. Car leather is all fully finished (with the exception of something like...
  18. Snow belt under body protection

I remember Waxoyl often being recommended often in the Land Rover Discovery/Defender communities. Never tried it, mine was practically rust free and had some type of wax-like coating (at least in places where I didn't scrape the frame rails!) that still seemed to be mostly doing its job. Not...
  19. Video: The 3 test Broncos have moved on from Rubicon to Moab!

It was a memorable day of off-roading for sure! It takes guts (and lots of extra antifreeze and distilled water in the boot just in case) to run a Rover V8 at WOT for 4 hours on a 90+ degree day (probably 110 degrees over the dunes). These are big dunes too, big enough that you can hear them...
