Considering all of the other "gotchas" along the way AFTER getting a VIN, it doesn't mean much. I think some view it as a step in the right direction, like a promotion. Mainly, I think it verifies that your order does actually exist on some level. :) I'm waiting for a Bronco. It will...
  4. Will a Bronco need rock sliders to drive the entire Alpine Loop in Colorado?

First time I did the Alpine Loop, my TJ was brand new in 2003. Stock height. I did have sliders on there but never touched them. I think a stock TJ sits lower than your Bronco. This pic shows you how low it was sitting at the time. It handled Engineer, no problem.

  13. Bronco losing navigation (temporarily due to chip shortage)

I don’t want to mislead, I DO use Waze…when it makes sense…heavy traffic, speed traps, if I’m bored and want to know where Every…Single….Solitary…..roadside abandoned car is, etc. but it is NOT the end all for me. There are many, many times when a real GPS with installed maps makes much more...

  15. Bronco losing navigation (temporarily due to chip shortage)

Waze says, dealer says….lol. Real world is vastly different. And you use a LOT more driving cross country. But this thread isn’t about Waze.
  16. Bronco losing navigation (temporarily due to chip shortage)

Waze and Google Maps apps use about 1-2mb+ per 2 hours. This can add up to several gb/mo. Turn off your cellular data and see how far you get.
