My frontrunner didnāt come with a case. Thatās interesting! Regardless it doesn't need one as it collapses and can be carried on its own. Super compact design and yet still very comfortable. 2.5ā thick. Iām 5ā9ā 200lbs (down from 220 a few months ago!)
The Frontrunner chairs are excellent. I find them super comfortable. No, youāre not gonna nap in them. But they are a very comfortable āsit around fireā chair and more upright so good for eating or playing cards. And they pack very small. Much better than mini camp chairs IMO.
Interesting that...
$50 obo - 2023 Bronco Badlands 4dr OEM Bilstein shocks from a non-Sasquatch rig originally with 33inch tires. These are basically the same as the Sasquatch shocks, but they have slightly greater articulation than the Sasquatch
version which has a larger bumpstop. You can use these to fit 35inch...
Followed this process yesterday when moving to 35s. Latest Forscan version *.67 worked like a charm. Relearned the AWD, PCM and TCM modules after writing the new value. Set the tire circumference to 2600mm. Speedo reads about 1mph below GPS speed at 65mph.
Also took the liberty of finally...
How do you reset the computer using Forscan? Is this more than just clearing codes? I have not had a need to do that yet. But can understand why carrying a laptop and dongle while wheeling is useful.
@BroncoStorm thanks for the link. I hadnāt seen your settings. Is the bar chart your settings for road? I see the tables for high speed and crawling.
Bilstein 8112 install in progress on my non-sas Badlands 4dr. More to report in late October after off-roading them. Also includes upgrade to 35s (Falken Wildpeak at4) and Method bead grip +25 wheels.
Iāve got +25s sitting in my garage to replace my non-sas +55s on a Badlands. Now I wonder if I shouldāve gone 0 offset. Too late now! Will know more next week.
I love the bronze. But couldnāt bring myself to do it as I already have bronze on my 2000 Miata. So I went matte black.
You can see the pockmarks from the nuclear testing on Google Maps. The old guy who drives visitors to The City (massive landscape art craziness) had fun showing it to us when I visited last year. And he also showed us Google Maps satellite views of Area 51. Then he just waits around while you...
I use the standard short receiver with the Kuat Hi-Lo extender. The extender has an internal cam you rotate to keep from rattling. There is no rattle.

the downside of the extender, vs the Kuat Pivot, is the rear hatch cannot open when the rack is installed. But...
I use my half rack mainly for skis in winter. Then I remove it. I may use it to carry extra fuel on longer trips. But all other gear I need fits inside. But thereās never more than two of us in the vehicle, so plenty of space.
Iām happy with the Ford OEM mats. But Iām not that picky about mats. Also have the vinyl floor so itās not really an issue of getting stuff in the carpet. .
Do the 11.5ā pizza cutters fit on a 8.5ā width wheel (stock SAS)? I assume a +25mm offset would probably introduce rub with the larger diameter of a 38ā
Iām curious to try these.
actually reading further I may keep my non-SAS Badlands wheels for experimentation at +55mm offset
