  1. 2023MY Standard Audio (6-speaker) Subwoofer Delete Mandatory and Functional Amps Removed

@RagnarKon @Pressurized @orion1224 I just got off the phone with Kicker support. Brett informed me that the front setup having the kick panel speakers wired to the dash speakers is pulling the 200.4 amp below 4 ohms. Apparently that amp must run at 4, otherwise it'll overheat and eventually give...
  2. MIC Hard Top Wind Noise Reduction - 2023 Edition - Plus Bonus Fix for Bad Adhesive

Perfect Segway to my question. I just installed a Sunrider. Definitely elevated wind noise. Any thoughts about applying some rubber stripping strategically to the Sunrider?
  3. Kicker Key Amp 200.4 Install DIY Video - Do this first!

My key takeaway is you are talking about optimizing a “non-sub” soundstage. The sub element introduces disruption
  4. Kicker Key Amp 200.4 Install DIY Video - Do this first!

So given a choice for prioritizing an upgrade, would you upgrade the pods before the kick panels? I have 4" Kickers in the pods now, and they still suck. Again, I'm running the 200.4 amp and a sub with fusion amp.
  5. Kicker key amp 200.4 not turning on.

Try pushing in the radio detect switch. Because you are hooking into the stock radio head, that button needs to be pushed in. That did it for me. I'm running off the battery as well....
  6. Kicker Key Amp 200.4 Install DIY Video - Do this first!

I'm not looking for big bass. I've got the sub giving me good low end. Where I'm suffering is the "muddiness" of the higher frequency of the bass range..even going into the midrange. I'm thinking that a higher quality kick panel speaker will provide more clarity. I'm assuming that will be the...
  7. Kicker Key Amp 200.4 Install DIY Video - Do this first!

727-01-01 382B 2AF1 00AE 727-01-02 0900 000D 0047 The 0900 is a constant. Not changing that, especially with the Kicker amp in the mix. I've bounced back and forth between 16 and 2A. 2A is giving me a bit crisper (by no means perfect) sound than 16. I still don't understand the 3800...
  8. 2023MY Standard Audio (6-speaker) Subwoofer Delete Mandatory and Functional Amps Removed

Since the Fusion amp utilizes the factory installed harnesses, I'm wondering if there are any settings in Forscan that addresses the output of the sub. It's currently "all or nothing", and the amp/subwoofer behave independently of the 200.4. The whole system feels a bit "bassey". I suspect...
  9. 2023MY Standard Audio (6-speaker) Subwoofer Delete Mandatory and Functional Amps Removed

That’s awesome and great hear about that quality of service. I’m anxious to hear the outcome…but not as much as you are I’m sure.
  10. 2023MY Standard Audio (6-speaker) Subwoofer Delete Mandatory and Functional Amps Removed

Why not wait until you get the replacement amp so you don't have to do it twice. Opening up that panel is a pain in the ass.
  11. 2023MY Standard Audio (6-speaker) Subwoofer Delete Mandatory and Functional Amps Removed

@RagnarKon @gaaangs @JimV @BudgetBronco @Szarko @Pressurized @orion1224 If you had stock kick panel speakers, kicker 4" in the dash(w/bass blockers), and 4" Kickers in the pods, running the Kicker Key amp 200.4, and the 6.75 sub with a fusion amp, which speaker would be your next upgrade...
  12. 2023MY Standard Audio (6-speaker) Subwoofer Delete Mandatory and Functional Amps Removed

Mine was the SDARS base system. It came with the sub harnesses attached to the dummy amp and sub, which I replaced with the fusion amp and the Kicker 6.75

  14. Inexpensive yet impactful speaker upgrade plus FORScan mod

No question. I'm just curious where this 3800 setting came from since it doesn't seem to adhere to the established values acceptable in this particular setting. I am running Kicker 4" in the dash and the pods. Stock kick panels, all driven by the Kicker Key 200.4, and a 6.75" Kicker sub with...
  15. Hard top users - what is your plan of attack for summer?

And the reviews on the OEM soft top are horrible! I see ZERO downside to Best Top's Sunrider product. The reviews on quality, fit, convenience are all 5 star. My way of thiking is that going "open" shouldn't have to be a premeditated exercise, and moving between open and covered should be easy...
  16. Hard top users - what is your plan of attack for summer?

No it's not. The Sunrider is $999 for the twill for a 4 door front panels only. The Skyrider is the $1500 front-middle coverage. Didn't want to go there. https://www.bestop.com/products/sunrider-for-hardtop-ford-2021-2023-bronco-2021-2023-bronco-raptor/
  17. Hard top users - what is your plan of attack for summer?

I pulled the trigger on the Sunrider 2 days ago. The reality is, I wasn't going to be pulling those panels off...great concept, but it ain't happening. I think the Sunrider will dramatically alter the "summer experience" of the Bronco...in a great way. We've spent this much time and money on...
  18. Inexpensive yet impactful speaker upgrade plus FORScan mod

    I cannot find a reference to a 3800 in terms of what the last 0 does… xxxY-xxxx-xxxx - Passenger Front Kick Panel/Dash Speakers 3 - Speaker 7 - Tweeter B - Speaker & Tweeter F - No Speaker I’m pulling @RagnarKon into this.
