That’s interesting. My dealer never said anything about the wiring harness itself. I wonder if I should call him about that Monday. I’m really happy you got yours back.
Wow !! That’s fantastic !!! Please please keep me updated! Still nothing over here on my end. Following closely so please let me know if anything happens
I am at 4 months without my Bronco. Still awaiting reprogramming of gateway module. My dealer said its not as simple as replacement module- that they need to reprogram/fix the reason its defective. Replacements are not an option. Buyback offer is not great. Even if you got full amt back, good...
Did you just go through dealer for this? I went through BBB and off of that Ford approved buyback but I probably would've been better off with replacement vehicle. Especially given trying to buy a new one now with finance rates is even more money down the drain. Did y'all hire a separate lawyer...
Hey just wondering timeline of yours. When yours failed and when you got replacement part. Mine has been in shop since July and still no ETA on replacement
For CA it’s what you paid minus depreciation for the mileage you have on it. So you still lose that money. Just wonder if anyone has actually had replacement vehicle for a lemon Bronco. This would be best offer for a customer because you aren’t losing money- if you haven’t had aftermarket adds.
Has there been any success with doing this with the Ford Bronco? I have a buyback offer but you lose money for sure on their offer. It seems replacement would be way to go. But has anyone done this?
Curious to know what happened with your situation. My Bronco has been at dealership for almost 4 months with a gateway module failure. I'm going through possible buyback option but its a big lowball and with current rates, the chances of getting another one are slim to none. Replacement vehicle...
My car has been at the dealership since July. Same story with my service manager being in the dark as they are getting these gateway modules from a third party with no ETA on replacement part. I explored Ford buyback option but its a big lowball and even after negotiations its a lose lose. I'm...
Did you end up going buyback route or planning to wait it out for the gateway module? I got an update that there is no update from my dealer yesterday in terms of part ETA
No replacement and nothing on its way. I filed a ford claim and actually more helpful was the better business bureau. It got approved for buyback but big lowball on offer. Seems pretty impossible to get a replacement vehicle especially with current rates. Not to mention the initial one year wait...
My 2021 OuterBanks Bronco has been at the dealership for 2 months now for gateway module failure. Initially I was told a new part was needed, had been ordered, then backordered and now the update is that there is no part. Rather the engineering team is working on fixing the part. A seemingly...
