Sounds like you have your wipers on auto mode… where sensors monitor what’s on the windshield and speed/slow wipers accordingly. Keep moving the wiper lever… you’ll get the standard slow and fast mode eventually

Very cool… just a thought: I’d rip it in half sideways for two reasons: one for ease of insertion and removal… the other would be if you get rear ended it may fold rather than jam up against rear seat passengers. Just thinking
